It finally rained...and has been raining the last few days on and off small showers...See,all that rain-dancing and praying worked...finally.....It's 80-something degrees right now and this morning while working it felt so nice outside...just like a Fall morning!.....relief......i hope we have broke the drought spell here in Oklahoma *fingers crossed* we have...It hasn't been enough rain yet...but i'm hopeful....the thunderstorms were really nice.....great sleeping weather...
Past few days have been busy working and taking care of pets...My black Burmese kitty Pumpkin (w/the lime green eyes)has been sick....lethargic..has fever(his ears are very hot)......some kinda urinary tract infection my vet said...she gave him amoxicillin and Reglan for nausea....so i have to chase him around the house and make him take his medicine!...lol...he's so cute, he runs from me and meows and hisses...the amoxicillin smells like banana-strawberry...so it can't be too bad kitty!...hope he gets better soon...
i hate when my pets are sick...they are my family too ya know! ;) love them all..i'm a worrier..Freckles (my horse) has a bit of a cough and i'm kinda worried over that, so i have been watching him...i think this weather is not only rough for people but animals too...
Think i'm going to take down my pool....hate too but the weather is making it impossible to keep up and the stupid grasshoppers flying in it.....this week i'll drain it and take it down..makes me kinda sad....but happy that fall is on the way..summer has sucked around here really....lol...
Haven't talked to dad at all in a few weeks....we were all over at Mark's house last night watching that movie "Stepbrothers" on the big screen tv...but that movie is so funny i laughed so much i cried!...if you haven't seen it ya gotta watch it....that actor-guy in it was named Will something..why can't i think of his name??!..i don't watch movies that much so i don't keep up with all that movie stuff.....but it was funny!
anyway..dad called last night while we were all at Mark's watching the movie and he got into a screaming fight w/Mark over the phone and Mark hung-up on him..he said he was telling Mark he was NOT our Dad and he was only trying to hurt his feelings because he can't be here...That's kinda sad...he always feels left out of our lives when he's gone working and he gets very jealous when we all have family get togethers and he has to be away working..i can understand that.....but what i can't understand is the yelling he does at Mark....
but,whatever...he never tried to talk to us...he just got mad at Mark and yelled at him and Mark hung-up on him...Grandma says those two have fought since they were little kids....lol...i wish i knew what is wrong with him and why he screams like that...we miss him...i wish he didn't have to work so far away and i wish he could be here.....i hate drama.

the night sky is beautiful....
Heard this song on the radio today....love it..so pretty.I like a lot of his songs...still haven't seen him live YET.
Last night we went over to the bar and played guitars and sang...hey, every night is open mic night anymore....it's always mass chaos in the bar...but me & Sarah only go if family is in there in case someone bothers us or something like that...and as you know we ALWAYS have family in the bar!....haha!...
It's fun to play/sing and have people request songs and really appreciate your singing/playing....they keep asking me to sing and i get so embarrassed/worried that other musicians are gonna get annoyed or something horrible..but they never do...just a few of those drunk women who can't sing and think they can are the ones who give me the evil eye....bwahaha!...but that's women for you almost always catty & bitchy!...i try very hard to never be one of those girls!....lol.
Diego got into a fight last night with a drunk guy because he got smart*ss with him, we were sitting at a table and 4 tables over from us we see a table flip over,drinks go everywhere and Diego knocked that guy out cold!...lol...oh man, i love a good bar fight....haha...i know that is soooo wrong..but it's always great entertainment to see a well deserving loud mouth know it all get knocked out..... ;)
i don't drink much, i don't mind if others drink..i'm always designated driver...and i'm cool with that...i drove Eli & Amy home last night...i always get a good laugh when i help them to their doors, up the front steps..always a mess...haha...
Got home at 3am and me & cousin Sarah sat out on the front porch and watched the night sky...we saw 5 shooting stars!....why so many?..or was it meteors or comets?..i can't be sure..i only know that when i look at the night sky i am reminded of how tiny and microscopic i am in the universe....and that god must really love twinkling stars...there's so many up there..
so glad we live so far from civilization, that i think we can see every star in the sky at night...we're so far from lights of cities it's pitch black at night....we're lucky....more people need to watch the night sky...it's something you should do i think..i love to stare at the moon and think about things & people i miss....it's rather comforting knowing that no matter how far apart we may be, we still sleep under the same moon...

Just another 112 degree day in Oklahoma.....
It's saturday!..oh big woo...it's still hot....i wish it was september.... ;(
The critter of the morning, this morning in the yard, was 4 coyotes lounging around the back yard eating dog food...they were really skinny...i feel kinda sad for all the animals...the drought is killing everything..every morning there is an animal in the backyard....a different one..the other day it was armadillo,raccoon,badger(who tried to fight my dogs..gripy ol thing!)....so every morning is a new critter as always, but lately they are eating dog food i think.....i don't care they aren't hurting anything......but if i see a Chupacabra, i am running for the hills!...LOL! ;(
Finished pulling up all the dead plants out of the garden this morning at 5am...it's all dead and really hard to pull up out of the hard dry ground...i usually like the smell of tomato vines..it's a weird smell i like, but anyway..those vines are all rotten now from the heat and they smelled so bad i gagged almost..lol...!.......so the garden is all gone...getting cleaned up for fall.....
I really thought i might try to grow some pumpkins for decorating and give them away this fall...but the seeds i planted blew away or those STUPID GRASSHOPPERS ate them....i hate those things....they have eaten everything....then they like to fly into my pool and float around...makes me so mad....god....
went to the mall yesterday with friends...we were looking in a bookstore and i found a calendar that was Zombies 2012 calendar....eww...it was gruesome looking & spooky the pictures on it...but oddly i was fascinated by the pictures..it was like so gross and disturbing but yet i kept looking at it..why?!..just drawn pictures you know..but yeah that was weird.....
at the candy store i saw a 5 pound gummy bear!....it was $25..it was ginormous..talk about sugar overload...geez...how could someone ever eat that?....it was strawberry....the cashier was showing us all the other flavors they had in it...every kind...he had just got them in....we were all mesmerized by it, like a bunch of nerds....lol.....but i have never seen a ginormous gummy bear...now..i...have...haha!
we went to Pizza Hut and had lunch...we saw some of the wild women that follow DadChad around were in there having dinner(his wild women harem..LOL!)..we tried to hide from them but they saw me & sarah...i thought:"GO AWAY!"....so they start asking us have we seen him/talked to him/where is he?..blah..blah..blah...you know the whole wild women interrogation tactics....lol....I just said nicely:"Nope, we haven't seen him,he's busy working in west Texas,no, don't know when he'll be home to visit.".....and that's true, because he hasn't called in awhile..he's busy and grouchy as usual i'm sure....
They kept talking and we were trying to eat pizza with our friends and they were interrupting....that's really rude...Amy goes:"Well, that was rude as hell!"...and i agree people always do that,try to talk to ya....annoying, asking us that crap in front of our friends....oh well...that's the wild women for ya...haha
done with our work for the day already....nothing to do today but sleep,sit in the dark & wish it was Fall!

Hot pow-wow.....
Some had their teepees set up and some lazy butts like W.P. just had camping tents set-up....lol....Everyone was laughing about that....hey, modern comanche!...haha...They had made food, some kinda corn stuff and indian tacos, buffalo burgers and other stuff...
me & Sarah sat in Eli's teepee....they are great for keeping out the sun and they are ventilated because the bottom of the teepee isn't staked down all the way totally to the ground(you know the teepee never actually touches the ground where it's anchored)....anyway...his teepee was blue-red....if i had a teepee mine would be royal blue on the outside and the inside would be sky blue or yellow!...haha...i told him that yesterday and he goes:"Hey,sounds pretty! maybe you should have designed this..next year jules, next year".....LOL...yes,i'm a dork.....
i don't know how they all had the pow-wow in the heat it was 113 yesterday! and that is NO heat index...the thermometer in the truck read 125 with the windows down....this is craziness....it lasted all day and they still danced...it must be hot with their dancing stuff on, the headress, beads, feathers...but the face paint is made from stuff that is good sunscreen....we even painted our faces...Star painted our faces for us...mine was blue with white & red.....
at one point at about 3pm everyone dancing got so hot they were all getting weary and C.R. said:"That's it i quit this thing, its too damn hot man!"....but they did manage to make it rain, i think, because there was a rain shower at 4pm after the rain dance....just didn't last long enough or go anywhere...*sad face*
Eli said he thought it was funny to finally see Apaches & Comanches all together getting along...LOL....you know how they always talk about each other....
I'm not an F.B.I.(full-blood-indian) Cherokee, my great-grandparents on Grandma's side were F.B.I. Cherokee indians...My Grandma is a F.B.I. Cherokee...and my Grandpa has some cherokee & comanche....
Indian Bloodlines are a touchy subject because so many stupid people go around wanting to be indian to get money and they make up that they are, or because they are some kinda new-age weirdos that think it would be the cool thing to be part indian, they don't look indian or know anything about the tribes...
Believe me, some nuts are always claiming to be indian even here in Oklahoma people move here from far away, and start saying that to get money or attention and they will look very European....it shows in your face features if you are in the blood-line....they only look like idiots and are very despised amongst the tribes...they get irate about those people....it's stupid...
Oh!..i met a guy yesterday with the last name RainCloud...cool..i'd love to have a name with "rain" in it...Julia RainCloud...haha...i like that...or Julia RainDrop?...bwahaha...ok, i'll stop but it would be an awesome name to have...yes, i'm a dork....i do know some people with the last name Dancing Cloud & Rain Water...
it was fun i guess..just a hot pow-wow..
we're all about the rain around here,wishing, hoping,praying,dreaming...

haven't bought much....
Did a kitty rescue this morning at 3am...my dogs had a wild kitten in a tree...so me & Sarah ran out there and tied the dogs up, got a ladder and tried to coax him down from the tree.....he got down and i caught him, but he scratched my hands up really bad in the process and ran for the hills....lol....hopefully wherever he ran to, he will be safe and away from coyotes or anything that will harm him....he must be tough enough, if he can scratch like that...ouchie!..we helped him i guess...
Grandpa paid us our wages this month...he gave us each a check and we went to cash it at the bank yesterday...we don't have time to go shopping really, so we just got a few things for breakfast..bagels, strawberry pop-tarts,milk,cream cheese...we eat small dinners at noon at whichever town we happen to be in,whatever cafe or eating joint we can find....it's too hot to eat anything....just drink water and cry...haha!
Maybe next week when i go shopping with Amy(Hi Ames!) & everybody, i will find something to buy...but i haven't bought any new clothes in a year..i don't need clothes or anything...i have lots of things in storage boxes in the hall closet.... i'm not much of a shopper..i save my money...when you have to check price tags and keep your check book balanced you don't want things..you realize they are un-needed..sure i wish i could buy things without looking at the price tags...but that's not in the cards for me...so i don't really care that i can't afford things i want...it's just how things have gotta be...keeps things real..grounded..
Yesterday i got a really great compliment from a great friend who said:"Julia,is the kinda girl that could(but wouldn't ever), steal my man, spit in my face, and i would still say---Julia, you deserve better than him...everybody just loves Julia so much! you can't not like her! she could do evil things,no one would ever believe she did it, and everyone would say, No way! she would never do that!..leave Julia alone!...she's the real America's Sweetheart."
oh man...that's really sweet and i got so embarrassed when we were all sitting at the table and everyone raised their tea glasses!...i know i turned red!.....i have worked hard to be a sweetheart and a lady...so it made me feel great to be complimented on it....i had to blog that so i can remember that.
