Planted Petunias and Nasturtiums yesterday...I think they will be very colorful for this summer.
My Uncle L. finished working on the metal gates yesterday and now I will have to paint them....I don't know what color they will be yet....He had to weld them and structure them...
Had to go to the feedstore and purchase feed yesterday..
I also purchased at the grocery store a packet of my favorite ranch dressing mix it's Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing dry mix....You just read the instructions on the packet and mix it up...I like to eat raw vegetables with it and on salads....
I was going to look for a red bell pepper yesterday and I forgot to purchase one to eat with the salads and other raw vegetables I like with the dressing...
I've always liked that dressing and the dressing mix.
also purchased some chocolate bars yesterday....

volunteering....
There are many different things a person can do to help out and stay out there in your community to make the town/city/state/country a better place...
I always want to try and volunteer in town or locally to help out with:
town beautification projects,
helping take meals to old people who have no one to care for them(they do this in the local small communities here)
help at clothing drives,
pet shelters and homeless shelters---always need volunteers!,
I like the Red Cross and the Salvation Army they always help people and need volunteers.
I know that when there have been tornados or severe storms there are always volunteers needed to help clean up the debris and plant trees sometimes..that's always a good thing to help with as well...
just anything that they need volunteers at and there's always something that needs to be tended to that needs volunteers!
You can meet all kinds of new people, make friends, and get to learn more about your surrounding community/city/state you live in....usually there are always some nice/kind people who want to make a good difference in the world who are volunteering I think so anyway....it takes a very special person to volunteer or be there when someone needs help...it's the right thing to do.
with Summer approaching I think it's a great thing to be volunteering and getting out there making a good difference in the world...It keeps you active and you have something to focus on and be working at...because everybody knows that it can get very boring in the hot summer days....
cooling fan drives:
they always need people to help deliver and donate cooling oscillating fans to the poor in the summer time...that's something I have helped with before...they appreciate the oscillating or box fans when it gets way too hot outside and they have no air conditioning and they suffer without it! they took truck loads of fans one summer and we helped with deliveries of those oscillating/box fans all kinds of those cooling fans....people appreciated that...
even if you are just filling up cups of water for workers when you are volunteering, or taking plates of food to old people who can't leave their homes it's always sweet and kind. they always need help with those kinds of things.
volunteering at local area fire departments is also one way to volunteer all year-round...also at hospitals/cancer centers they sometimes need volunteers with things I have heard...
a lot of communities need volunteers for all types of things...I think you just have to find one and work on that and then find another...it's a good thing to stay active and get out there and make a good difference...

Easter cake and egg kits....
Laughing right now...Just gave Goofball a flea and tick bath!...haha...he finished his bath and he ran and rolled in the dirt and ran in circles....So much for that bath!...
Last night there were storms that went over and before the storms got here..i could hear Goofball howling very loudly and he was howling and sitting on the top of his dog house and then he started barking at the lightning....then it started raining and he ran and got in his house!....
It was funny because he was safe and everything but that dog is silly barking at a storm....maybe he is a weather dog!...haha...
Purchased the items that I needed to work on the Easter celebration cake I am making...My Grandma always made the cake when I was younger and it was always very cool and colorful to me....
I purchased:
a Funfetti cake mix with matching icing and sprinkles
1 white chocolate bunny with adornments
small candy Easter eggs
shredded coconut
What I will do is, I will bake the cake, after it cools I will put icing on the cake, after that sprinkles, then add the chocolate bunny standing next to the green coconut nest that I will then place the small candy Easter eggs in..i may tint the icing green with food coloring to look like easter grass...not sure yet!
I also think the Christian Cross cakes you can make are very beautiful and special...
I think about how we celebrate Easter because of Jesus and how special that is!...I like all the pastel colors and brightly colored candies and Easter egg kits that I have always liked purchasing and using.
There are so many different Easter egg kits you can choose from and I always liked to make glittered dyed eggs, or the shiny dyed eggs or sometimes just any Easter egg coloring kit I like them all! It's just once again another creative artistic thing to enjoy along with celebrating Jesus on Easter Day.
you have to always hard boil the eggs remember! haha!
My Grandparents hid eggs everywhere when I was a small child at Easter and we would all look for them and try to find them outside or in the house.....
after we would find the eggs we would remove the shells, and my Grandma would wash them and we would make deviled eggs...pretty good!....just because they're called Deviled eggs does not mean they are bad!...haha!....I like to eat deviled eggs on Easter day....oh Lord help us all....haha!....deviled eggs on Easter day....
my family has always enjoyed a dinner at my Grandma's on Easter day usually after church...
anyway...I am recycling!!! I've been collecting used livestock molasses/mineral tubs that are blue and I am making flower planters out of them....pretty and that is good to recycle...they are sturdy and hold plenty of potting soil and water....
anything you can recycle is always a good thing.
filled them with flowers and flower seeds all kinds of crazy ways/designs...
long day.
