I was able to purchase a few new sports drinks yesterday....I found two that I really like! Arctic Blitz Gatorade, Icy Charge Gatorade and THEN I found a PowerAde that is better than anything I have ever like before called Twisted Blackberry Cherry!...It is good...I like many Blackberry food items and this is one of my favorites!...I hope it is not just a limited edition!!! it should be there all the time to purchase.....
I enjoy drinking these sports drinks with many meals....I take so many allergy pills that dehydrate me!...sports drinks seem to help with re-hydrating me...they work for me....they're great in the summer when you are outdoors working also.....
Pizza is something that I like to enjoy with sports drinks often, i like tea, water, and i know people enjoy those sodas with their pizzas!...I like creating pizzas at home and actually it is a lot of fun purchasing the ingredients at the grocery stores, and baking the homemade pizza at home.....
for ingredients i like to use Pepperoni, Mozzarella Cheese, Black olives, Onion, Italian Pizza Spice(in the crust) Pizza Sauce, Mushrooms..I sometimes create my own pizza crust, or i purchase the pre-mix add water pizza crusts available...any will be just fine....and they have the already made pizza crusts for purchase--Boboli, Mama Mary's are two brands i have seen and then you have the canned pizza crusts and breadsticks different brands....You know, a person can create many different kinds of pizzas they may like to, they use all kinds of ingredients....whatever you like! ;)
Frozen Pizzas are just as good and when you are in a hurry you can just quickly bake them at home after you purchase one...many different kinds/ginormous or small pizzas..all different prices...I have also seen Take and Bake specialty stores, where you purchase a frozen made pizza from a specialty store and take it home...they are fresh, supposed to be anyway!....lol...Grocery stores/Chain Stores have most of these available...to purchase and bake at home.
Frozen Pizza brands i enjoy are----
Tony's
Jack's
Red Baron
California Pizza Kitchen
Totino's
DiGiorno
Freschetta
Tombstone
Screamin' Sicillian
Wild Mike's
Amy's
Sam's Choice
Jeno's
Marketside
Sasquatch
Great Value
i always purchase a small sack of Mozzarella Cheese to place on some of these frozen pizzas, because i like them with extra cheese...then i bake them....
With my pizza purchased or created at home i also enjoy--Cheesy Garlic Bread, Breadsticks with Cheese, a salad, and i like to use ranch dressing/pizza sauce as sides to place the pizza into...that's good!
Restaurant Chain Pizzas i purchase as well--Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Caesar's, CiCi's, Mazzio's, Papa John's...
pizza is something i really enjoy and it is fun to create, purchase and choose a favorite pizza, many different types, kinds, just whatever you can afford and you enjoy.

kerosene lamps, LED/solar lamps, cellar clean-up.....
Storm season is here as we all well know, and I have been looking in the storm cellar here at home...Every year I know we need to have the kerosene lamps cleaned, purchase Kerosene oil, and make sure we have the cloth wicks you can purchase separately to place there to light the lamp..those need to be clean and able to burn..
CLEANING LAMPS--I wash the lamp glass top every year to prevent any contaminants before storm season...We have an antique Kerosene lamp from Great-Grandma and it is used in the cellar and at home for light when the electricity goes out, and when we have to stay in the dark storm cellar during tornados we just light this Kerosene lamp and wait for tornado alerts to pass by....
Change the Kerosene oil in your lamps every month, they will smell nasty if you just let the old oil set and you burn your lamp, fresh/clean Kerosene oil works best I think!...I pour the oil down into the bottom half of the lamp, slowly, so it will not overfill and make a mess!..Be careful with the kerosene oil it is hazardous, so Keep away from children and pets.....always clean up a mess you may make with the Kerosene..
Placing the cloth wick down into the lamp oil and then twisting it back up with the side roller and getting it through the holder just right can be a challenge!...
Lighting the kerosene lamps before placing the glass top back on is what we should all do right...Just light the cloth wick with lighters, or long-stemmed matches!....Always be careful lighting these in your home and storm cellar....NEVER leave them and forget they are burning, monitor them at all times they are burning!...DO NOT burn yourself...
DIFFERENT LAMPS---I have seen solar powered/charged lamps, and the LED lamps are also nice..i like them all!...I just already have there to use the old style Kerosene lamps...I appreciate the soft glow of lamps and candles....it is comforting....and an old way to have light when the electricity goes out....
CLEANING THE CELLAR---I know I need to clean my storm cellar today, it is always good to sweep it(use broom/dust pan), place the nastiness in a trash can/trash bag you take down with you, and wear a dust mask!...I get so many allergies when I clean the storm cellar!...You should always waterproof paint the interior of your cellar(any will do), a light color(so you can see better down there in the storm cellar), and seal any of the crevices in the floor or wall with a waterproof caulking, to prevent leaks.....let dry, I like to work on all this on a very dry, warm, day so the interior will dry....you should actually work on these repairs before storm season, but I am late working on this!...lol...been too busy! no time!
ABLE TO GET OUT OF CELLAR---this storm cellar we have has a kick-out screen and that way if a tree or something falls on your door you can climb up to the kick out screen and get out that way....just take a cell phone with you down into the storm cellar always, so you can call for Help if your cellar door is unable to open properly!....NEVER happened to me, I hope it won't ever do that!
PORTABLE WATER PUMP--so now I am working on the cellar repair/clean-up, and I know that I may probably have to take a portable water pump, and it will pull all of the water out of the cellar that may be leftover from recent rains..it is leaky....nasty water!...icky gross!...You attach the small water pump to a water hose and it will pull water out of your storm cellar, our portable cellar pump is old, you may find them at hardware stores...I suppose.
RID CELLAR OF PESTS---all kinds of pests are in the cellar---Scorpions, Black Widow spiders, Brown Recluse Spiders, Centipedes, bugs, watch out for snakes sometimes!...nasty gross!...
MOLDS/ALLERGIES--- grow in these storm cellars, allergies everywhere, that's why we need to clean this all to keep ourselves safe from the pest bites, and allergy/contaminants!...
PLASTIC TABLE / CHAIRS---you need plastic chairs and one plastic table for placing your lamps and weather radio on when you have to go to the storm cellar for tornado alerts....
TAKE PETS WITH YOU TO CELLAR---Making VERY sure you have your pets ready to go down into the storm cellar BEFORE the tornado gets to you is serious...they need to be contained in their pet taxis/portable cages and latched very good...they need to be placed in their containments cages/pet taxis and then place them on a table down in the cellar before a tornado gets to you...I have always made very sure I have my pets ready to go down into the cellar at least forty minutes before a tornado gets close to my home..watch the tv for the storm warnings and listen to your weather alert radio closely....when the storm has passed by just take your pets, family, friends back up to your home...You are safe now! ;)
this just helps to ease the stress of making it down to the cellar safely in time with your family/friends and pets!..i am always prepared...being prepared in advance is GOOD...and less stressful.

chickens and eggs.....
I woke up early this morning with arthritis pain in my sternum area..i cried it hurt so bad!.....
I have something called CostoChondritis, I have had it for years...my sternum/ribs swell and I can't barely breathe and it is terrible pain...I accidentally lifted on way too many heavy objects yesterday....I hate arthritis it is very painful!...I have only ever taken Advil/Ibuprofen--(makes my stomach hurt), i only can use Tylenol for it....it also gets worse when I am very stressed!.....
I have never taken pain pills for anything, they are too strong and I am allergic to many prescriptions/and things......makes me very ill.....only Tylenol/Acetaminophen for me!....
People get addicted to those pain pills and can't get off of them.*eyeroll*..Hillbillies like the pain pills! Yee-Haw....haha!...oh lord help us all...keep us safe from them!!!
The rainfall and storms have been very comforting and nice...I have been watching storms build, move across the fields, and fall the past few days...The Garden has sprouts growing now!. ;)
Saw chickens to be purchased yesterday at a feed store, they also have very well built chicken coops there also....I know how much fun it can be to have many chickens and have good laying boxes to gather eggs from...My Grandma has had chickens and the guinea birds before, she has always liked to gather the chicken and guinea eggs, to enjoy for meals...
Taking very good proper care of the chickens is always required and treating them very humane is something we all need to be doing!....Cleaning the coops, watering them, feeding the grain properly is needed daily...Those guinea birds like to eat insects when they are let out for the day....I think people should ONLY let the chickens/guineas out of the coop when they are NOT going to get into the roads or in the way of heavy machinery!...Too many times stupid fools let their flock of chickens/guineas out near the roads....terrible, they only get ran over!..why even purchase them if you are going to be stupid enough to let them out near the roads???.... My Grandma she always let them graze near the barn away from the roads and machinery!
I know the birds all need to be let out of the coop during the day, BUT at night make very sure they are back in the wire framed coop so they won't get caught by wild animals!..There is a smaller opened wire that you can purchase to place on your chicken coop to keep Snakes/Rats out of the coop, Other pests are Owls, Skunks, Possums they will get your chickens/eggs too!
I always like to gather eggs and clean the coops...water/feed them grain.
Many people don't like to cook/enjoy eggs, and I know they always yell about cholesterol!...*eyeroll*.....lol....I enjoy eggs all the time, I grew up on a farm and continue to live on a farm, so I like fresh eggs that are cleaned and properly gathered....I purchase them at the grocery stores mostly now....
I like scrambled, or fried/overeasy with pepper and salt both...Also I use the eggs for baking/cooking meals...I like eggs!...I don't see a problem with them....

kittens !.......
I have three cats and I raised them all from kitten age....It has been so much fun taking care of my three boy cats and watching them grow up into adults...It is a blessing to have a pet and having kittens in your life to raise on the tiny bottles(when they are left behind) or just raising them after they are weaned from their mother's milk...I raised my cats on kitten chow when I got them....they didn't need to be on bottles, they were weaned already...they were abandoned, but I saved them, and they are apart of my life forever! they are my family!
Kittens need to be seen by the veterinarians and wormed according to their instructions, they will worm them for you and whatever else medical attention they need at kitten age the veterinarians know what special medical care they may need if they are a certain breed of cat..some breeds need certain vaccinations so always check with a veterinarian...they can clip their nails at the veterinarian's office also at a certain age....
EXTRA LOVE/CARE NEEDED----just always take very good care of your pets---kittens and puppies always need extra special attention, love/care!...Don't EVER let them get hurt, lost, or out of your sight, keep them indoors as much as possible, you have to make very sure they NEVER run out the door and escape...it has happened to me, one of my boy cats escaped out the door and ran up a tree it was Rockie cat, and I cried!!!......I had to call him down out of the tree one morning early...I still have to watch them all when I open the door to my home and make sure they are back away from the door, they just will run out there trying to climb trees...it is dangerous for them!
Kittens are playful, fuzzy, sweet, cute, loving, silly, and they like to play with toys...They need to always be monitored and be well taken care of...My cats all live in my home and they NEVER go outside because of wild animals and dogs...Dogs usually don't like cats and they may harm them!!!...Kittens/Cats need to be safe in your home, and always be careful with them, they like to climb up underneath your vehicles and they can become lost or mangled!... :( upsetting and sad!!!...so many times they get lost and get into mischief that will cause them to be gone forever.....oh I cry about that! so take good proper care of them, feed them according to instructions and bathe them, treat them for worms, fleas, ticks, as you know you need to...veterinarians will always answer your questions I'm sure! cats will live a very long time when you take proper good care of them always!...I have one that is 17 years old--Tigger cat!...he's an old man cat....aww...
THEY ARE A BLESSING!----It is a life changing event to be gifted a new baby kitten and raise them, watch them grow up and be your best pal forever!.They are always there for you and they love you and want you to always care for and love them too!..My boys are a blessing to my life, and I look at them and I remember them being baby kittens..their names are Tigger, Rockie, Pumpkin.......AND now they are all grown up into Adult cats....
they are silly, playful and always into something, being nosy, and they fight sometimes with each other....haha!...I laugh at how silly they are sometimes!..They keep me laughing! they like to play with their toys and they want me to give them attention all the time, so I give them hugs, and I play with their toys with them, they like you to shake their toys, roll their toys, and they can pounce on them!...it makes me giggle...
they like to sleep on the foot of my bed most nights and they will sometimes try to sleep right beside you, so I have to always make sure I don't roll over on them while I am sleeping, they are so cute!...I never want to hurt them, they like to hide in blankets, under beds, they will hide anywhere so always look out for them and keep them safe! many times cats/kittens have troubles sleeping at night, so always have patience with them...they may keep you awake at night, so place them in their crate a few hours, then let them out after you sleep...it will take time getting them accustomed to living there with you and not being so scared...they're cute!
LITTER BOX TRAIN KITTENS EASY---it is often easy to litter box train kittens...Just place your litter in a small shallow litter box that they can step into at kitten age....Gently take their tiny paws and use your hands to make their paws scratch in the litter...you may have to do this for them a while and then they will learn to go bathroom in the litter box...it takes a lot of time and good care to train them...I trained mine, all three of them!....
you should always have your kittens spayed/neutered when they are at the right age according to what your veterinarian says....this helps stop a lot of abandonment...Mama cats can have many babies and they can be a lot of work taking care of so many kittens, that's why we need to always spay/neuter them humanely with the help of a veterinarian....and ALWAYS find good forever homes for them...All people need kitten/cat pals in their life....I love cats!.. ;)
take very good care of your new kitten pal and learn to laugh more in life, and watch them grow up!..I have been blessed to have them in my life, life is so much better with pets and raising the kittens is a life changing event!...
Be prepared to take VERY good care of them, and also be prepared to giggle and have happier days in your life with a new kitten pal, they grow old and will live many years with you in your home, I love mine to live in the house with me!..we laugh and play all the time! they keep "cases of the sads" away! ;)

fruit stands, festivals, garage sales, farmer's market......
Summer season will be here soon.
Along with summer season, there is always something traditional that you can take part in, and go attend....When these events happen you know it's Summer-Time!....I look forward to these events every year.... ;)
FRUIT STANDS/FARMER'S MARKET---I like to purchase fresh vegetables/fruits/honey from the local Fruit Stands/Farmer's Markets...I enjoy shopping at them in the Summer, it may be sweltering hot in them sometimes 112 degrees outdoors, but they are sheltered from the heat/hot sun with cooling fans, some may be air conditioned...Often they truck in fresh fruits that are ripe and that is nice they place them there.....It is very fun for me to pick Peaches at an orchard in Texas in summer too! They need to always be clean and safe, with good parking area off the roads/highways...Be careful!
FESTIVALS----Often many local small towns and maybe even cities have people who like to organize Festivals to celebrate a local thing, that is special to the area, a locally grown vegetable/fruit crop can be celebrated as well, or a local person that is historic they celebrate....I enjoy attending these! ;) Summertime is always a busy season and Festivals are traditional...It is hot weather season and people always have to have refreshments, tables to set at, cooling fans, carnival games, thrill rides, I LOVE the arts and crafts booths that are available!!!...They need to be monitored, inspected, days before the festivals/events, and vendors need to NEVER be nasty with the items they create for purchase!....
I wish the arts & crafts booths would have many more vendors at these Festivals, they have art & quilt shows sometimes, I like them!..Festivals can go on for a few days...(I just hope they are clean) Music needs to be auditioned a month before the Festival begins, and the stage equipment all needs to be inspected that it works properly!...How many times have you heard a local stage microphone shriek!....haha....I like to listen to local bands/talent that can perform well!...water-misting systems are good ideas for the crowds to cool off in at these festivals...Parking can be terrible and difficult to find your way to park near the festival entrances, so that should be evaluated months before.....Food vendors need to be inspected and we need many more of those to be very clean and sanitary, as well as properly working thrill rides that the carnival brings in for entertainment.....And there always needs to be PLENTY of security there all day and all night!....It needs to have plenty of lights so everyone can see in the nighttime, and make sure everyone is safe.........
I think about the local RattleSnake Festival that is going on in a few days in Apache Oklahoma, I am excited for the Comanche Nation to be having their Pow-wow and other events...it makes it that much more special for them to be performing there, I have always enjoyed the RattleSnake Festival, maybe it is going to become much better every year now!.....
SNOW-CONE STANDS---These are out there near the roads/businesses/streets every summer and they are a favorite Summer seasonal tradition of mine also, to walk right up to them and choose a snow-cone that I would like to purchase, they need all kinds to be available, and they also need Diabetic Snow cones for the Diabetics out there!..they should be able to enjoy a icy snow-cone!...I always hope these are cleaned/inspected by the Health Departments, for cleanliness!....You never know near here...lol....and they need to be affordable for everyone....
GARAGE SALES----Every summer they have those town/city-wide garage sales, and for a weekend all of the people will set up tables near their driveways and place items for purchase on the table for the ginormous garage sales all over town...I have been to some of these before and it is always fun to shop/look at these....
When the weekend is over they often take the items that weren't purchased to be donated to the GoodWill so someone will find the items there for purchase..I always think that something you may not want anymore, someone else will enjoy or could be put to good use for them in their life....People love garage sales and bargains....these need to be washed, priced reasonably, and I like to place pre-priced garage sale stickers on them that are in bright colorful hues!....Something you want to get rid of?...Just place a 50/cent sticker on it or a 25/cent sticker on it, or a 10/cent sticker on it!!!....haha....it will all sell usually priced that cheap!...that's what we do at garage sales at church...works just fine...These garage sales in Summer need to start early in the day probably seven 7am-7pm....on certain weekends in the small towns/cities....be careful parking, and watch the roads/highways for cars driving past you!
ADVERTISE COLORFULLY/BRIGHTLY AND EARLY ALWAYS---Advertising in the newspapers, tv stations, radio stations, and local magazines a few weeks before these festivals, garage sales, farmer's markets/fruit stands begin/take place is a good way to get the word out there to everyone so they will know about it earlier before it starts....good for the local economy....Gives people something to look forward to, work on, and expect to have a day of fun at with friends/family!!! and carry on new and old traditions...
Cute, colorful, bright ads/stories in newspapers are wonderful so everyone will see them about the events...AND brightly painted colorful signs all over towns or on highways/roads are needed to be seen there to get people's attention about these events/fruit stands/snowcone stands/farmer's markets/festivals----all need to be seen and advertised brightly and get attention early for all these events...advertising early will let people know in advance about the events taking place....these events always need to be safe, clean, affordable, and fun!
