propane tank exchange for outdoor grill........

Just had a Cinnabon cinnamon roll this morning with a glass of milk..i like cinnamon rolls for breakfast sometimes...

thinking about having to exchange propane tanks for grills....we had to do that recently..

Every summer it is fun to grill outdoors and have friends/family over to enjoy a meal, to celebrate the Summer Season....

I know that many people have propane grills and I know that you must be very careful with them...Affixing them properly to the grill is a very important step to remember...You can have dangerous flare-ups and fire can burn your face, and body! ALWAYS step back away a bit when lighting/igniting the grill for safety concerns...Outdoor winds that are blowing may catch the flame and it could flare up through the grill or even explode, so always be cautious.....

The small propane tank that is located underneath the grill needs to be monitored at all times and when it is empty you will know you cannot get anything to light....lol....

There is a propane tank exchange that you can find at many local stores--Dollar Store, Grocery Stores, and convenience stores have these propane tanks for the cooking grill exchanges, you will see the propane tanks outside of the stores lined up against the wall in locked metal cages so they cannot be stolen, simply take your tank to the store and ask them if you can exchange your propane tank..There will be a fee for the exchange but it will be cheaper...

You can also just purchase a new propane tank for your grill there also, and I think it is nice you can exchange it to recycle and be more affordable or you have the option of just purchasing a new one!

I have used the brands Blue Rhino, Ameri-gas....

keeping your grill cleaned can prevent a lot of nastiness from collecting in the grill and also may prevent flare-ups and fires...

Having forks/turners, tongs, grill scrub brush, grill cleaning supplies are tools you need for a outdoor grill.....

Condiments for creating a nice hot dog, hamburger, or others would be anything off-brand by ShurFine, Save a lot, Always Save, Best Choice, Great Value, for any of the condiments for grilling...more affordable! but I also enjoy a few name brands also...mustard is my favorite..Mustard or Mayo?..Mustard on most everything....

Mustard--I enjoy French's, Heinz
Ketchup--Heinz, Del Monte, Annie's Natural
Mayo--Hellman's, Kraft, Duke's, Kraft Mayo Olive Oil
Pickles--Best Maid, Vlasic, Mt.Olive, OR homemade pickles!...lol

BBQ--I have already blogged about those I enjoy..

Sour Kraut for hot dogs--Del Monte, Silver Floss
Chow-Chow is good too on it's own..NEVER with Sour Kraut on a hotdog..one at a time..haha!

Hamburger Patties--you can purchase ground round hamburger yourself and create patties, OR purchase them already in small boxes---Great Value, Flanders, Ball Park, Angus, Fat Burger, Sam's Choice, Johnsonville, Honeysuckle/Jennie-O--all good

Hot Dog weenies---Nathan's, Oscar Mayer, BallPark, Bar-S, Jennie-O, Johnsonville, Schwab's

I also enjoy a good onion out of the garden for hamburgers/hotdogs....

Chips are good with hot dogs & hamburgers--Frito Lays brands usually, Doritos, or any off brand chips

Canned Chili Brands I enjoy would be--Wolf Brand, Hormel, Brick Chili/Schwab's or homemade, off brands just as good...

Potatoes & Onions baked in oven
sometimes I like to cook potatoes and onions together in foil in the oven while everything is grilled outdoors..i create potatoes with onion by peeling 7 large potatoes, add a few pads of margarine, chunk/dice half of a medium onion place this into a foil lined deep set baking dish...sometimes I add yellow squash to this... Salt & Pepper as you wish!.....Bake at 350degrees for about 30-40 minutes..watch this to see how done it is, people like different things while preparing food....I use ketchup on this after removing from oven...good.

happy grilling!
