Women / girls often enjoy competitive, challenging sports, just as men take part in type sports...
One very rough + tough competitive sport that I have seen and heard of locally is roller derby sport ! Often many women like to join the roller derby teams, and compete locally, a few years ago, they were advertising their events / games on tv, and newspapers, I did see a car pass by at town that was advertising their roller derby team....
I think any event that requires team work, friendship and is not causing evil is good to have there available to compete in...good social activities, practices, choosing team colors, names, and purchasing game wear, scheduling games, competitions ---all great ways to be social, create better atmosphere locally....
From what I have seen on the tv, roller derby girls have to be very strong, athletic, tough, enjoy a challenge....it is very competitive, sporty, and you can be bruised, or fall, so they always need game protective wear....
They seem as they are always going to have fun competing on the local news...always be respectful while in competition to all teams competing....
I know there are many people who enjoy roller derby, great way to create strength + teamwork....
