Desserts for Valentine's !!!....

These are a few nice sweet desserts for Valentine's Day in a few weeks !

Recipes !

Cold Strawberry Soup

Two and one quarter cups  (2 + 1 / 4 ) fresh strawberries
a third cup ( 1 / 3 ) sugar
Half cup ( 1 / 2 ) sour cream
Half cup ( 1 / 2 ) whipping cream
Half cup ( 1 / 2 ) strawberry juice

Place strawberries and sugar in blender and puree. Pour into mixing bowl, stir in sour cream and whipping cream, blend well. Add one and a quarter cups ( 1 + 1 / 4 ) water and strawberry juice. Stir well and refrigerate. Serves chilled, serves four people. Enjoy with Angel food cake cubes, as side.

Strawberry Bread

Three cups ( 3 ) flour
One teaspoon ( 1 ) baking soda
One Tablespoon ( 1 ) ground cinnamon
Two cups ( 2 ) sugar
Three ( 3 ) eggs
One cup (1 ) oil
One ( 1 ) ten ounce package frozen sliced strawberries, thawed.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine flour, baking soda, cinny, and sugar with half teaspoon (1 / 2 ) salt, mix well. Combine eggs, oil strawberries. 

Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into two sprayed, floured, greased, bread pans. Bake one hour or less. Cool thoroughly, slice enjoy with a dollop whipped topping. Very pretty bread !

Strawberry Pizza

Crust -- mix together smooth :

One cup flour
One stick butter
Half cup powdered sugar

Filling -- mix together

One package cream cheese softened
One container whipped topping
One cup powdered sugar 
half teaspoon vanilla

Mix together crust ingredients. Mash into pizza pan or other shallow pan. Bake at 325 degrees until lightly browned. Cool. Place filling over cooled crust. Chill in refrigerator. Top with one point of sweetened fresh or frozen strawberries halved.

Cherry Cheese pie

One Graham cracker pie crust ( purchase )
One package cream cheese
One can cherry pie filling cooled
One can sweetened condensed milk
Third cup lemon juice

Soften cream cheese. Mix well the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Add lemon juice. Mix. Pour mix in pie crust, let set, chill. Then top pie with chilled cherry pie filling. Add a dollop of whipped topping to your pie serving individually or all over cherry pie filling top.....yum !
