Often we accumulate much in life, plenty items in good condition, but of no use to us ! Garage sales are the best place to sell your unneeded, pre - washed, items, that still function + are in good proper working order !................. Often we have upset over items given to us by those we have lost due to break up, divorce, ended friendships, or death, these items may cause us sadness to see them, or tears to fall, why not place these at the garage sale you create ! , watch them go out of your life to another to enjoy !!! Best way to say goodbye, start over New ! Less tears. Know it goes for goodness ! ;)
The items you place at your garage sales MUST be bleached / cleaned / sanitized, very clean, not torn / stained too terribly !!! Offer these items at your garage sale for lower cost always be reasonable / fair with prices at garage sales !!! Honest ! ;)
Often you can find those round garage sale price stickers, these are often bright, or plain color hues, just write price onto the sticker, adhesive to the garage sale item ! Very affordable at most stores, dollar tree, Wal-Mart, dollar stores.........some may have prices printed already on the sale stickers, any price you think is honest for the items you are selling, adhesive sell it at the price you choose !
Garage sale yard signs can be purchased very affordable at Dollar tree, place signs bright colorful neon poster boards write driving instruction to where you are giving the garage sale + the time ! Place local streets, where allowed. Watch over the money box have change bills, all available already, do not cheat others !!! DO NOT let others steal !!!
Place the garage sale items you may be selling up atop the garage sale tables or boards, be representable, clean, creative to attract attention, place most colorful, cutesy, eye catching items up afront, be friendly ! Invite the attendees to your garage sale, if asked questions, be polite, kind, show respect. ;)
Attending garage sales ??
Try to attend the garage sales most days to find best prices on needed items, anytime, invite friends, co workers, family to go with you to be safe. Often there may be items you need for lower prices, be reasonable, ask if it can be lower prices, be kind, respectful, say hello.
You may spend quite a bit of money easily, purchasing wisely, plenty to choose from, enjoy ! BUT take a long much money to afford items.
Often furniture is up for grabs at local garage sales, you may need to have lift assist, transport to your home, ask those you can trust for help tending to this, pickup truck best !!! Place interior truck bed, lie the furniture down flat be careful + cautious driving !!! ;)
Garage sales are often exciting to attend, walk on through, interesting to see all of the items available, you find one you afford + need + enjoy ??? Buy it up quickly !!! I have often enjoyed attending garage sales + helping work them at church.......
Advertising is a MUST to support the garage sale !!! Makes this work / run smoothly, sell out !!! Stay available most the day til about 5 pm, have shade, umbrellas, sunglasses if sunny weather !!! It can be hot out there during the hot weather !!!
Advertise with signs, newspapers, all you can afford, want ads for items / garage sales, online social media within your local own area, tell church friends, townspeople, local town hall / city management, ask to advertise ! place signs up colorfully interior local town business windows, with driving instructions, where it's located, the time also ! Be friendly writing ! Invite all.
