veterans' day.....

I wish it would rain and get cold!...It needs to be that way because of the time of year it is...I really wish it would be snowy/cold for Thanksgiving, Christmas.....I'd like to make a snow man out of the snow! I like a nice, pretty Winter Wonder land!

Today is Veterans' Day..I think about all the service men and women who have served our country and been out there on the battle field and sacrificed their lives so we can be free...

My Grandpa always reminds me of today and about how important those who served our country are and that we need to always remember the reason we are free and able to live our lives as we are living them because of the Veterans' and their good deeds. He is a Veteran and I have always been very proud of him!

I had to replace my American Flag that was on my lawn the other day because the weather had damaged it...so I replaced it with a new one and it waves all the time in the wind....I look at that and I remember those brave people who have fought and died in battle and I know how much I respect those Veterans' and War heroes that continue to battle today...

today is a day to remember them.

never give up during bad times....

Some things in life are always a struggle to get through....there can be so much sadness in the world..and it can be very easy to get depressed, angry and sometimes suicidal...BUT we can never let these bad times in life knock us to the ground and lead us to depression or suicide or intake of bad dangerous drugs or too much alcohol....

being sad, depressed, or angry at all times can be caused from bad times we have been through years earlier and a person has to learn to let go of the past to move toward feeling better and having better outlooks for their life...I know I have had to!....

I work toward being happy every morning I wake up.....I forget the past upsets, and how people have hurt my feelings, lied about me, made fun of me, harassed me, followed me, got their nose in all my business/life and how they made me feel less than.....sure I am still very angry about all that!..but I know they're all hillbilly losers!...lol....I just make fun of those idiots and I go on...I want to laugh everyday and I work on that all the time....making fun of idiots like them makes me feel better every morning I wake up!....haha!

nobody is just naturally happy...you have to work on happiness everyday...I may be smiling/laughing when you see me, but it's just because I work on keeping a smile on my face all the time...I work on being happy...that's how I have always been...and it helps most days...

why let idiots in life make you upset?!....don't let them ruin your days...forget them I say! and AVOID them!...ALWAYS find time to make fun of those morons who make you upset!...haha!

when bad terrible things happen to you I know that if you need to seek help from doctors you should and take proper medications....always make sure you see a doctor for serious emotional/mental issues....some of those things that happen to people in life I know they need medical help from great doctors and it will help you to get through those terrible things as well...

when you fall down you have to get back up and stand on your feet to get through awful upsetting times and keep going forward to better days....Days always get better when you NEVER give up!...You just can't let bad things in life depress you and knock you to the ground..i know how difficult it may be at times with these terrible things that can happen to people and the things they may go through..i know you can easily be depressed...BUT....kick all that sadness and upset to the curb and accept help if you need it to get through bad days and try to surround yourself with things that are good and people who are good people...

drugs and alcohol only make your depression much worse and you never can truly ever get over how you feel when you constantly ingest that junk...I have seen too many family members destroy themselves and others with addictions like that and they are awful people and ruin others lives...it's all a nasty mess....

losing loved ones is very upsetting and it hurts terribly when that happens...best thing to work toward in those times is knowing that you will never forget your loved ones, but you have to go on, and seek help if you need it...relocating for a while may help, finding more work to tend to could help, and maybe crying it all out to someone else would help as well..a friend or loved one...talking about how you feel about losing loved ones is something we should always try and work on....we have to all communicate how we feel to our friends and family....prayer also helps and therapy can help also...remember everybody goes through loss of a loved one and everyone goes through bad depressing days...that is just how life is...

suicide should NEVER be a way out of how you feel or how to combat your awful times we all go through....it's sad when that happens...depression and drug use can also cause suicides and we should always watch our loved ones and take proper care of them when they are going through these bad days and depression....

days get better and nothing stays wrong and sad too long......." this too shall pass " I always say to myself..because it does..Get tough and keep going! the world doesn't just stop for your upsets and bad times...the world keeps going on and you just have to battle through the bad days and learn how to get through them..with help or without help..however severe your depression is....

you may be faced with upset after upset constantly one after the other....and you will not know what to think..but you just stand up and face it...be brave and know you are constantly prepared to know how to face these challenges/upsets..in one way or another...

you just can't lose yourself in drugs, alcohol, and depression that's not the way to battle through upsets, awful bad times...you face it by being strong and by seeking help from doctors and loved ones if you need to....some people can just easily get through bad times....I'm that way, it just bounces off of me.....but I think it is because I have been under constant stress and I am constantly prepared to battle through a bad day, or take up for myself, keep myself safe, because of all I have been through with these evil, idiot, hillbilly people in my family and their people....sad but true...

making gigantic changes in your life by eliminating bad things in your life that only you can get rid of, is the best way to get over what you have been through...everybody makes mistakes and they can totally change their own lives for the better and start over I believe....and that helps to get rid of bad feelings and depression...

just changing their lives by starting over and getting rid of bad people and bad things from their lives.

changing work occupations or finding more work to tend to.
attending church, rehab, mental health clinics.
meeting new good people or others who have been through similar upsets in life as you have are good ways to start that progression toward a better life and feeling much better after battling through so many terrible upsetting days....

finding new good hobbies
talking to others about what you have been through when you know they are faced with similar situations/upsets also helps.

purchasing things that make you laugh also helps!...

staying busy working an extra job that is good for the world.
donating extra hours to help with charities or whatever, and good causes can help you feel better too.

being involved in church work or church groups is also a good thing for you to work on to help occupy any extra time you may have..

this all helps keep the "case of the sads" away!

never give up! battle through bad times.

i love teddy bears....

I like collecting things..one thing that I like is Teddy Bears!

They are very cuddly and whenever you are going through upset times, sad times, or bad times you can always find a teddy bear to hug and hold....and believe me, it does help to hug a teddy bear when you feel like that!

I think Teddy Bears are some of the cutest, most precious things in the world...They are available in all colors, sizes, and some are seasonal...Some of them you can record messages to and when you gift them to others they can hear your voice when you hug them...I think that is soooo sweet! it helps when you are away from your loved ones, so they can hug the bear when they miss you and hear your voice......aww....

you can find them in most stores and you can gift them to others for certain occasions or just to show you care.....some of them are fuzzy, super soft, and some are just plain..i like them all...

when choosing a Teddy Bear for someone always remember to let them know how much you care with a card and a note of encouragement...

I have Teddy Bears that I have been given as gifts throughout the years and it is so sweet and thoughtful whenever I have been given a Teddy Bear....I just cry that is so sweet!

washing dishes....

Washing dishes can be quite a task!...When you have friends/family over for meals and you cook at home often there will always be dishes to wash...especially when you haven't got a dishwasher! I don't have a dishwasher anymore, mine stopped working very long ago...So I have been washing my dishes by hand for years...

I like to always keep the sink cleaned up and I purchase cleaning supplies to make sure it stays clean and doesn't have odors...I keep the drains clean of food at all times...it's so icky!

to make sure my sink and the drains are kept clean and smelling nice I use a few items and scrubs around in the sink with a sponge for cleaning..I use either Ajax, Bleach, or Comet to scrub in the sinks, then I rinse that all down the drain...it helps with odors and stains that may happen in the sink.

always keep liquid that may still be in the cooking pans after cooking, poured into another container then throw in the trash when it is cooled..greases/fats/oils..they can clog your sink drains terribly!..

sometimes you may get clogs in the drain underneath your sink so I use something called Drano you pour down into the sink drain or any other drain in the house that may have clogs from food being trapped or grease from cooking,or whatever may get clogged..it's so gross!...Drano needs to set in the sink drains for however long the instructions on the bottle say, and it will get rid of the nasty junk making the clog...it's terrible when you get sink drain clogs....I try to keep the drain cover cleaned and on the drain to catch foods and that gross junk out of there!!!

when washing dishes I like to use a pair of dishwashing gloves often times, you can purchase them most places they are usually yellow or decorated....that way my hands won't be dry and itchy from all that washing...I choose a favorite dish washing liquid and add a small cap full of bleach to my dishwater to keep germs away and clean better on my dishes/glasses/pots & pans, silverware...

Sink pans---sometimes sinks won't hold water so I use sink pans to wash dishes in.

Dish soaps that I like are: Dawn, Palmolive, Cascade, Finish, Joy.....they also have some of these for dish washing machines and I have tried them all....I like them! they also have some of these soaps in antibacterial as well...I like those too.

Soap dispensing dish wands----I like to use these often to wash dishes with, you just fill the wand with dish liquid soap from the bottle and it will dispense it through the dish washing sponge..

Chore Boy---a metallic scrubber that will really scrape off dried on foods on dishes.

S.O.S. Pads----sort of metallic or wire that is filled with soap, then you just scrub on pan bottoms or all over pans...works great!

to clean copper pan bottoms you can usually just pour vinegar over them and then pour some salt and scrub that...it will make copper pan bottoms brighter and prettier, you can use lemon juice and salt also to make that tarnish go away as well when you make a sort of paste from those 2 items OR you can purchase a copper cleaning solution..i like Wright's Copper Cleaner....it works good.

packs of sponges are always needed for washing dishes I like all the colorful or sometimes printed ones I can find..makes washing dishes not so boring to see bright colors....haha!

ALWAYS, make sure that your dish water is very HOT and wear your rubber dish gloves to protect your hands from getting burned or dry and itchy....very hot water helps to clean better and kill germs/bacteria.

I also have purchased a drying dish rack and they are in many colors to match the dish pans....some are metal some are plastic..they both work well..

I like to have dish towels to dry my dishes on in many colors or prints, and I like a good dish rag to wash dishes with too...I have several of each..they are fairly inexpensive...

livestock feed and pet food.....

This is just for fun this morning.I like all these pet/livestock brands of food/feed.This is a jumbled up mess of brands I like in no particular order but I will try and categorize them...I will try!...Some are affordable, some are expensive....in the past few years I have tried them, and I like them..i save money back if I want to try a newer one.

I wish that more of these pet foods were all natural and no coloring additives those make my pets sick sometimes and all pet/livestock foods/feeds should be safe, and the animals should enjoy them...I also have a few cat litters I use and I wish for less dust in those...the dust makes me and my cats sneeze!...ah-choo! but I purchase them anyway...they are affordable....I wish many pet supplies/livestock supplies were more affordable.
