Rodeo time is close, locally, and cowboys and cowgirls everywhere will be ready to go out there and take part in all of the scheduled events !
I am sure they have already been practicing......being well trained and constant practice is required, for your safety, your competition, and others safety...
It takes much practice, days, and days, to be quick with your time during competition, with all categories...
Rodeo is a fun, old timely, traditional sport ! I really enjoy them....attend, support all of the cowboy and cowgirl competing....wear your comfortable, cooler cowboy wear, relax in the stand ( seats ), arrive earlier to snag a seat, before all of the crowds get there ! Or bring lawn chairs, place near there to watch....misting water systems above stands would be nice, plenty of shade...
Rodeos take much planning, days in advance, as we all know...participants in the rodeo events, need to prepay their fees.....this helps the money situation.....lol
Horses need to be well fed, watered, rested before attending, all rodeo stock need this, they also need humane conditions, shade, nudging pads during rodeo, horn protective gear, we need to respect all of the rodeo stock, never intentionally hurt them....cooling fans on those 117 degree evenings under the shade in pens before the rodeos would be helpful....
Riding in the grand entry of the rodeo, we fly the American Flag, play music, ride horses in arena....all countries participating in rodeos, fly their own country flag, if allowed...nice, always be patriotic...!
Rodeo gear, there's plenty out there available for purchase, cowboys need those protective vests, gloves, cowboy hats, teeth guards when competing !....bull riding especially needs protective gear !

These are just old techniques for the old way of keeping up with your cattle, roping, catching calves, taming horses, just old timely, and I guess that is why I like it.....good sport to challenge yourself with....
Portable chutes, corralled are needed, better to use for rodeos, just move them when needed...simpler way....but if you have lots, chute already built, that works good also, just create grand arena....to perform in....
Tickets for the rodeo need to be sold early !, advertise everywhere you can early so all will know about rodeos....be reasonable with prices, children lower cost for ticket price...
Rodeo commemorative t - shirts can be sold earlier, advertising, and in all colorful types, use old style western fonts for printing....old style graphics, locally sold before rodeo, be creative !.....nice souvenir, remember the fun....all sizes, types, keep it cowboy and old west.....
Portable concession stands are nice, with air conditioning, or fans, with windows to take money, hand food back to rodeo customers through, very important to be sanitary, hot weather can easily spoil foods, especially meats, BBQ sandwiches, chili on the hot dogs, or Frito pie....need codes !
Frito pie created with the mini bags of Fritos corn chips, are easily created, take knife slide down through middle of mini bag of corn chips, place spoons of chili, onions, mustard, shredded cheese onto the Fritos, portable, give them plastic utensils to enjoy for meals, always good !.....fun.
Pickles, boxes of candies, candy bars purchased in bulk, all different kinds, fried foods, cotton candy, sodas, water, lemonade, teas, BBQ sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, chili cheese fries, all nice for concession stand, much help needed....lol purchase bulk food items from Sam's stores....much better...
Watch children always, never leave unattended, very important, dangerous !
Parking lots need to have lights, parking spaces need to be flat, created nicely, always remember you will be lost in a parking lot if you don't have a general idea of where you are, watch out, be careful, always be with family, or friends ! Very important ! Serious !
Keep pets at home !
Portable bathrooms are needed, or build a building for bathroom, one person at a time...lol
Have fun at the rodeos, remember anyone can participate in rodeos, any category, just know much practice is needed, times will get better, you need to be well trained, keep training, take good care of your animals, horses need to be trained also....
