Vegetables !!!........

Cooking meal at home today, I often prefer it this way, because of no time to stop by restaurants, or often NO restaurant worth trusting to be clean to purchase meals at daily.....

I know that at least I can jot down meal preparation ideas every week to maybe more so plan out the weeks meals ahead of time, IF no time or terrible weather conditions exist, and I couldn't drive to grocery store !!!! I simply right down on grocery list paper my needed food supply list for the week......gather + purchase my food requirements in one grocery store stop for the week, less back tracking to town this way !!!!!!! Lol.....

Fresh produce is my favorite type of food to purchase, fresh from the gardens / fields.....VERY robust in flavor, scented well, fresh scent to the vegetables + the fruit !!!!! Grocery stores offering fresh produce MUST keep them clean, sorted out properly, and organized proper, fresh, NO brown, dirty,  rotted produce allowed !!!! Gross !!!!!

Buying vegetables is something I prefer to purchase and enjoy with main dishes !!!! Vegetables are nice addition to the dinner plate !!!! I eat vegetables daily !!!!! Nice main dishes that go with vegetables as the sides are pork, fish, chicken, beef main dishes whatever you wish !

I buy the vegetables at ALL grocery stores + Wal-Mart, Target has them as well........I buy the vegetables frozen / prepackaged, sealed KEEP frozen until cooking them !!!! Fresh from the fresh produce aisles, AND I love the canned vegetables ALL !!!!! Off brands more so AFFORDABLE and taste / work just as great as the more expensive brands I have cooked most all vegetables less expensive brands in cans and frozen prepackaged brands !!!!!! ALL nice to me !!!! My opinion !!!!! PLENTY INQUIRE !!!!!

Most people tell me often throughout the years that they simply DO NOT enjoy eating veggies, I know that is because of their taste, BUT I LOVE eating vegetables !!!! Always have !!!! Some I do not really prefer, but they are ALL healthy for us with plenty vitamins + minerals for nourishment to our bodies health wise.........they often help with digestion and keep our bodies regular cleaning us interior !!!........

Brussels sprouts are often a veggie that people simply DO NOT enjoy, I prefer to saute' them then pan fry them in olive oil, season if you wish, pan fry in olive oil 14 minutes......I adore them pan fried.....good for you as this !!!!

You may often choose a vegetable and not know how to cook them in the pan, many ways of cooking them ====

Grilled, roasted, pan fried, boil interior water, salt and margarine / butter......boil until thoroughly cooked interior the vegetable !!!! VERY IMPORTANT. Some are nice pickled !!!!   ;) salt NOT necessary for special diet restrictions, REMEMBER when cooking vegetables. Some enjoy plain.

Placing vegetables in the many casserole, pot pies, shepherds pie, PLENTY recipes out there......YUM !!!!!!

Growing our own veggies in the garden at home is very exciting and work, often tedious work.....wash and clean after removing from your gardens !!!!!!

These veggies are available I enjoy MOST.

Turnips --- boil, sugar, margarine, some milk.
Beets --- boil, some sugar
Asparagus --- grilled, with salmon, or boil salt butter
Okra --- fried, cornmeal, flour, salt
Cucumbers --- for salads and dressings, or boil / pickles !!!!
Radishes --- nice for salads fresh
Squash --- fried, cornmeal, salt, or boil, milk, butter
Beans --- you know about ALL beans !!! Lol...
Green beans --- boil in pan, margarine, salt, or grilled
Cauliflower --- boil, salt, butter, or fresh dressing dips
Tomatoes ---- PLENTY recipes, salt my fave !!!!!
Peas --- nice with fish, boiled, salt, pepper, margarine
Potatoes --- PLENTY recipes, boil, whipped, salt, butter, milk
Broccoli --- casserole !!! Boil, salt, margarine, ranch dip fresh
Carrots --- candies, milk, butter, little sugar, or salads
Celery --- nice for seasoning, salads, soups, fresh ranch dip
Cabbages --- all variety, salads, boil, butter, salt pepper
Lettuce --- ALL variety, salads, ranch dressing !!!! Salads !
Corn --- grilled on cob or niblets, boil, butter, salt, casseroles
Spinach --- boil from can vinegar, salt, or fresh salads.
Kale --- fresh for garnish ONLY.
Artichoke --- boil, salt, or artichoke hearts for salads.
Bell pepper --- ALL variety, ALL cooking, salads ranch dip.
Jalapeno peppers --- ALL cooking, nice for seasonal food
ALL peppers --- variety, seasonings. Other.
Onion -- ALL cooking prep, seasonings, burgers, hot dogs
Garlic --- ALL cooking prep, seasonings, flavor !!!!
Eggplant --- bake, season, saute' grill
Collard greens --- boil, season, buy from canned already !!!
Mustard greens --- same as collard greens, bitter flavor
Black eyed peas --- boil, season, nice with cornbread as side.
Pumpkins --- fresh, decoration, or pies from canned
Cantaloupe --- fresh, plain, sweet, or add salt
Watermelon --- fresh, sweet as fruit, but veggie !!! Salt !

Whew !!!!!!! PLENTY vegetables for us ALL to cook + enjoy a healthier dinner plate........you may prefer them plain, NO seasonings, NO salt, NO other added ingredients, but I prefer to add to mine !!!!! Lol....
