Been crazy windy the past few days....last night we encountered a pop-up thunderstorm,hail,wind,lightning.....luckily we had just got home from having all the day's work done....I heard something hit the kitchen window very hard...kinda spooky!...turns out it blew shingles off of the roof of our small utility building and carried them across the yard....i gotta meet with the insurance guy this week...it blew off a lot of shingles.....
today i realized something...one of the greatest inventions in the cattle business has gotta be the round bale feeder....haha....it saves so much hay from being wasted....lol...I don't like the put together feeders though!...i have pinched my hands so many times....and mashed my fingers trying to put them together...but this kind?.....easy!......
put 5 round bales out to feed yesterday in separate pastures...counted 6 new baby calves....so that's good...so cute!...
all of the animals are acting like whiny brats today.....the dogs& cats especially...they are all fighting,whiny,can't get enough attention...spoiled bratty cats&dogs!!!..
the horses are doing their own thing..you know they have their own agendas too....lol...it's like they are deprived of attention and that is FAR from the truth....all needy& won't mind....you pet them and they just keep wanting you to pet them or feed them treats....
see,i can't figure any of them out...maybe the storm upset them all yesterday???....oh well....lol...
