I received in the mail my Oriental Trading catalog for Spring/Easter....I once again like every item in it....so cute and sweet for Easter...I think of creating Easter baskets with cellophane, plush animals, candies, and any of the items from the catalog!...lol...You can also create adult Easter baskets with word searches, Easter pens, candies, or anything fun for Easter....just laugh and celebrate Easter! I always like to find Christian and Jesus related items from this catalog for Easter and be gifted those also...items with crosses, Jesus emblems, Bible verses on them, just anything like that...
In about a month it will be Easter Sunday, and that has always been a very important and special day to us because of Jesus Christ risen from the tomb....And I always think about the celebrating that day with hiding Easter eggs, being gifted an Easter basket, ( for the very young or older), we always create an Easter cake and after church services have a nice dinner with friends/family that you love and care about!...decorated brightly and all Easter/Christian items...
It has always been a lot of fun waking up on Easter morning attending church and creating Easter artwork, then having an Easter egg hunt, opening Easter Baskets filled with bright pastel colorful items, at my Grandparents...it is all exciting and we always remember why we celebrate Easter---for Jesus...
today is sunday and I think about bible study groups, attending church services, preparing sunday noon meal(anything you want to prepare!) with friends/family, because when we are friends we are a family, many people all they have are their good friends they can always rely on to be their family, so I always think about friends! and you want to invite them over to share sunday at church with you, go to a Bible Study with you, and have them over for noon sunday meal you have prepared, (even if you just go order a pizza!).....lol.
fellowship is something I believe we all need to take part in on sundays, and make sundays a holy day in your life, and continue that tradition!....handing out Bibles is always something good we can do for people, and maybe gift them a nice bookmark also...let them know you care when you gift someone a book as good as the Bible, it changes everyone's life, once you let God into your heart and you accept Jesus Christ as your savior.....things in your life start to change and you change for the better...
everybody makes mistakes, but once you go to God and follow him, allow him and Jesus into your life and heart, your life will become much better and you will feel better, being a Christian opens so many doors to many more good opportunities and the chance to meet good people, to help you find a much better, cleaner, safer, happier life...always take anything Christian serious...it's your life.
that is why I love being a Christian because I am a happier person, I care about myself and others, I care about the world, I have hope, and I want to make good things happen for the world, and END evil....good things can/will happen it just takes time!
I love it when I see people give their life to God and I start to see them happier, see them changing, seeing them making good nice friends, who want to jump into creating goodness for the world and their surrounding communities, their countries....
Being baptized is also so very special and life changing, I was baptized and I take that very seriously, once you are baptized you feel much better after giving God the reins to your life....he's in control.
Wednesday nights are good nights for the middle of the week so you can enjoy fellowship at the church or an establishment that others can attend, Maybe rent a building for a few hours on Wednesday nights, you know, something like that---if you don't have a church to attend, maybe have a Wednesday night bible study group at someone's home, you can have Bible study, refreshments, and have board games, checkers, etc... to play there afterward......you can also practice your music for choir, church musical instruments/band.....and sing for choir practice, something like all these ideas...these are all things I have taken part in....or just practice band music of your own....
Wednesday night fellowship just helps to keep God in your heart and mind throughout the week and a way to socialize with like-minded others....you have something to look forward to on Wednesdays!.....You can have refreshments and maybe pizza or snacks after your Bible lesson/study...this is also good for the children, when they are in a controlled setting and being tended to by a good trustworthy person/children's Bible teacher...
also on Wednesday nights you can create a women's group to meet and after the Bible study, the group of women can get together, chat, talk about issues in the surrounding area and the world, then plan out ways to have fundraisers for your church or study group to help with local events/projects, tackle tough issues that need helpful ideas, or maybe bring an issue or new idea to the table that you think needs attention from the community.....All us girls need to get out there, get together and clean things up!!! Think about things we can change in the world and our surrounding communities, bring goodness to the world, make it safer, cleaner, happier for all of us....we will all feel better when we get together and clean things up everywhere!...
men can also have Christian group meetings as well, just work on good projects to clean up the world and constantly invite others to attend a meeting with you....be serious, but enjoy socializing!...lol......make more friends, get to know others who are working on creating a Christian path to follow in their life...it helps to make everyone feel much better about everything...men have many good ideas and want to know how to tackle tough issues also, so they can work on those together too....men can have the groups too, bringing good things to the surrounding areas/world also.
I know that some stupid snobby idiots in the world have taken part in stupid things before and given Christians a bad reputation, but that's not how real Christians are!...
I am so embarrassed/angered by those snobs for the stupid things/bad attention they have brought to others who are attending church!!!....Real Christians are accepting, never judgemental, want to change the world, follow the Bible, never snobby, never idol worship, never greedy, never terrible to family members or anyone else, allow everyone into their church, no matter what they look like, how much money they have or their social status in life! Who cares about that stuff!----Allow all people who wish to attend a church into your church, that's what they are for!.....
Real Christians---they want to make good things happen for the world, make good changes! and rid the world of all evil.
You never look your snobby nose down on someone who wants to attend church or treat someone awful who is working toward being a Christian....there are so many people who have made mistakes, so many people who have been abused, and have terrible addictions, who want to make good changes in their life, all church doors should be open to all people, that's what God wants....always be supportive to others who want to join your church and be supportive to those who want to become a Christian....everyone can be a Christian if/when they want to!
