Finally completed sewing wheat everywhere we needed to yesterday....Before we started yesterday the tractor had a flat tire, and we had to fill it with air then go onto the field....We placed 15 sacks of wheat seed onto the pickup bed and then drove to the tractor and poured a few into the drill then went onto the field.....I had to first make the cows stay away from the gate before we could drive on through so they wouldn't escape!....4 of them kept standing near the entrance of the gate and I just told them to Go to the other field!...lol....they went on....the tractor scared a young heifer and she kicked, bucked and ran!....
So we completed that yesterday, I also was able to complete my purse...FINALLY.......Surprise! I think it looks nice...I think it was quite the challenge...sewing in the zipper was a mess!....I think a smaller purse would be a little less complicated...it is a fall season fabric print and the interior of the purse is also fall season print just different....I enjoy sewing and looking at the sewing supplies in stores, I saw that they have a new brand that is affordable called Prym.....it's affordable like the other brand Dritz......
anyways,
I purchased a new pair of those "crocs" slip on shoes...they feel nice on my feet....I like to wear them with sport pants and sweat shirt/sweat pants....with socks!....lol...I am comfortable during the Fall/Winter with wearing these clothing items, I think they may have more affordable off brands of these shoes...I just got a pair they were $30.00 at the Academy store......I shop the on sale aisles!...whenever the weather becomes way to cold, I wear snow boots or cowboy boots...these Crocs are nice for chilly weather, but not snow or ice!....
Pumpkin cat has some kind of spot on his tummy under his skin that feels like small mass...I don't know what it is, but I am watching it...I am concerned about it....hopefully it goes away and is nothing!!! a person needs to keep a check on their pets and watch for any health problems.....
I had to purchase a new book of stamps from the post office...they gave me a book called "Pets"...it is pictures of pets....so cute!...I enjoy the new and different stamps the post office has...
since it is fall season, I enjoy the cooler weather...I have to find some hay for Goofball's house because he is chilly in the night and morning....I am going to pull some hay from a hay bale out in the field today and place it in a trash bag, remove hay from the trash bag and then place into his house...he likes to create a nest in the hay and he pushes the hay around with his nose when he goes into his house right after I place the hay there.....haha!...he makes me laugh.....his "nest" has to be just so-so!
a few weeks ago I purchased a few of the Mum plants...they are colorful flowers in fall color hues...Rust, purple, yellow, white, orange.....very beautiful and I like to set those in the planters and water them daily...set on the porch steps, on the porch, or nearby there....they look very nice....KEEP AWAY from pets though! IF they ingest them they are often very toxic to pets..so keep outside away from them....the real name of them is Chrysanthemums--Mums for short! they are beautiful but poison to pets!...

just go on.......
Too many times in life we have upsets, fights, the loss of loved ones, illness, divorces, abuse, painful things that we have to go through that are all awful..
I think one of the most painful is being abused by someone you love...or hurt terribly by someone you love...People are so blessed to be given loved ones who actually love them! and too often they just are so mean, abusive, and awful to them.....it is very sad....I have seen this way too many times....
Whenever you have someone in your life who has abused you and you love them, don't go back to them......because they do not love you....it is for the best....you will cry but it is best to leave and never return.
it is a challenge a lot of the time for people to find someone in life they can trust or love, enjoy life together whether it be friends or family....people can betray you and it is painful....
just go on with life the best way you can, I know it can be very upsetting and emotional to let go of people in your life, BUT when you know they don't care for you or love you, it is best to just walk away, don't look back, and go on....I know I have had to, too often in my life....
they say it only makes you stronger the more upsets you have, and I know I have had my feelings hurt, been made fun of, and basically been tossed away by people who didn't really love or care about me.....it kind of makes a person not have many feelings or expect goodness in life.....sad but true...but I don't care what they think anyway....you have nothing but upsets and being let down by others when you expect better from them all the time.....you just don't expect goodness with anything.....it is difficult to trust others.
I get so tired of stupid, messed up, annoying, weirdo people and their BS....so sick of it...you just learn to not care about anything they have to say or tell you....
I like the old cowboy idea of handling an upset or situation and that is when the cowboy just rides away into the sunset, doesn't say a word and never looks back.....I think that is a good way to handle any let down, upset, or painful feeling.....
just go on and don't look back.

loss of a loved one....
My Grandpa went on to Heaven last week and I have been very upset and depressed about it....I know he was in much pain and he isn't suffering anymore...We should be at peace when we lose a loved one I guess, when we know they are a good person and are going to Heaven....I just will miss him....
Losing a loved one is something everyone goes through, and we all know that everyone will pass away someday.....I just look forward to going to Heaven to see him, God knows it's better than this nasty planet!!!....In Heaven everything is perfect I know......and much better......He kept saying he was tired, and I know I am tired too!....
People say, " Oh, why's she still crying over her Grandpa?! he was in his 90's years of age!".....and I just have to say they don't understand about me and my Grandpa, I was just like him!....so it makes me very sad that he was tired and went on to see God and Jesus.....
My Grandpa has always been a very good person, he never said a bad word about anyone, he was thoughtful, courteous, respectful, very giving of his time and charitable, caring, kind, he never hurt me or anyone, and he cared about and loved his family, he was a Christian man, and to a lot of people I NEVER have been perfect enough, BUT to my Grandpa I always have been....He NEVER criticized me, belittled me, or told me I need to be this way or that way to be perfect...he didn't give a damn about all that BS....he was just like me....his attitude has always been: "Oh well that don't matter, who gives a crap?"
He lived a good life, and I know he was very old, but I just will miss him, he has always taught me to be kind, respectful, never judge others, love my family and care about everyone...sometimes he didn't have much to say, and I am like that as well.....
I have been very blessed to have a wonderful Grandpa like him!!!.....
whenever you are blessed enough to be a Grandparent, mother, father, sister, brother, cousin, husband or wife, aunt or uncle, or friend, ALWAYS be a good one!..Be a kind good person and always tell them that you love/care for them, never criticize them, always know that when you have them in your life, to be respectful and caring....you can advise them on right from wrong to help keep them safe, but never tell them anything to hurt them....we NEVER hurt someone when we truly love them!
I will take what I have learned from him about being a good person and I will always continue to give that to the world....
I have a pair of his cowboy boots and they fit my feet!...lol....so I will be wearing those often....
Everyone goes through this sadness with the loss of loved ones, and there is depression and many tears, BUT I don't cry for long, because I know I will see him again someday in Heaven.....
Thank you to the many, many people who sent cards, flowers, prepared food, offered condolences, showed that they cared!...It really means a lot to me and my family....we all appreciate it very much!

coffee.....
Good Morning!
I think most people enjoy coffee...lol..
Many people cannot wake up in the morning they are so tired from working, and when they have to wake up and be somewhere on time, I know many people live on coffee...Caffeine is what kick starts the day for many....
When I drink some coffee, I like to drink it in a favorite collectible coffee mug....Haha!....I always have to have my neato coffee mugs to drink coffee from....yes, I am a total nerd.....oh, who cares!....lol...
I enjoy coffee mostly during the cold weather days with breakfast....
I like the smell of all coffees, it is one of my favorite scents! I just cannot drink a lot of coffee items because they tend to make me jittery, I think it has been from too much stress and worry in my life adding to my sensitivity to Caffeine....but those Double Caffeine cans...wow!...I have read the Caffeine content on those....too much for me!...
some coffees are way too bitter for me....I enjoy coffee items, but I don't like them too bitter or too sweet...ick!...I like them sweet and regular both....I have seen many people just pour on the sugar, additives, and for those special iced coffee drinks, I saw someone once pour on chocolate chips!...too sweet for me....I enjoy Milk/Milnot small amount of sugar in my coffee....
Cappuccino is another special coffee item favorite of mine, I like to brew it, and place a small amount of sugar, milk, and a small spoon of whip topping on mine....I enjoy it...
Caffeine-free coffee is something I generally have to have, that's IF I can find a nice container of it...we need more Caffeine-free!....lol....
Coffees can be:
Instant (add water)
Brewed with machine-Grounds
Pods--quick prepare with machine
Icy Cold Coffee
Beans---to work with machine
Brands of Coffee of all of these types I enjoy are:
Cain's
NesCafe
Folgers
Café Bustelo
Maxwell House
Eight O clock
Great Value
Dunkin Donuts
Yuban
Seattle's Best
Starbucks
Grove Square
McCafe
Hills Bros.

Sam's Choice
Green Mountain Coffee
I enjoy Coffee Additives, I enjoy many of them...Hazelnut, Caramel, Vanilla are favorites of mine.
These are brands of those I like:
International Delight
Coffee Mate
Torani
Bailey's
You can purchase the quick brew machines in stores..some can be pricey..i have seen some at the Dollar Stores.....maybe $20 or so...
there are Cappuccino/Espresso Machines--these are pricey and best for businesses/coffee houses...
These brands of regular coffee machines are out there to purchase...all prices.
Mr. Coffee
Tassimo
Keurig
Hamilton Beach
Bunn
Proctor Silex
Ninja
Presto
You need to clean these weekly...follow instructions on box..
REMEMBER if you drink too much coffee you may not sleep at night at all!...it can increase your heart beat and that may scare you...so IF you have heart problems you should ask your Doctor before drinking any Caffeine item, including coffees....

the poor.....
Being a Christian, I am always thinking about the well-being of others, and thinking about the world and all the people in it....
I think often about the homeless, the ill, the lost, the poor, and I know that the world needs more work occupations so people can survive and have better lives!...I would never wish anything but happiness for those who deserve it, those who have been very good people, who are kind, and wish to end evil in the world.....those good people deserve a better life, and they deserve to have/find happiness in a world so lost....
I have hope, and I believe the world will become much better, it just takes time and all of us working together to make it good and better!...every one of us count, and working together for good can change the world and end evil....
Being in poverty is something that way too many people all over the world know too much about....I know poverty exists everywhere, and it affects everyone...When people are very poor they lose hope, and sometimes the only way they have out of bad situations is by being bullied, hurt, taking part in nastiness against their own will many times...it upsets me terribly!.....I NEVER judge others, because I know that is not my place to be the judge of others actions, I know only The Lord is the judge of every person on this earth....So when I know people have been in poverty and forced into terrible things against their own will by powerful evil people, it makes me very sad and angry!
I have always been taught by my good family, that you should NEVER judge others for their actions because YOU are not the judge of them The Lord is, and that you don't know what awful kind of life someone has had that has caused them to be into the nastiness, and terrible actions....
BUT when I know people have chances to change their lives, and they are given many ways to escape nastiness and they go right back to evil and hurting others and ruining good things, I know I always give up on them, because they don't want to try better....it happens too many times....
People need to TRY to care about themselves and others more, and CHANGE their lives for the better!
Too many people are involved in nastiness and ruining people's lives, they say: " Oh, I have to be involved in this nastiness because I can't find a good job I have this and that problem!" that is a pitiful excuse!...People make mistakes, I know that, we're all only human beings on this earth for however long God allows us to be, so when you are given a life with a bad situation, fight to change it for the better.....Don't set there and keep making ginormous dangerous evil mistakes!!! It's time for everyone to clean up their lives and let's step it up and always try for better...
I know that there are not many work occupations but I know people can make a good start somewhere, and I know that people need to rid their lives of nastiness and addictions to help have a better life.....
poor people always have a bad start to life, it is difficult to survive sometimes, and they have to strive for goodness, they have many obstacles, it is very difficult to find work, a car to travel to work, to place meals on their tables for their families, and when you have a grand sized family you have to learn how to make ends meet so you can afford food, pay bills, own a home or live in apartment...I know it is very difficult for people and I know people are starving and very poor, it makes me very sad and I cry for them all!
I know about the inner city youth and the people who live there, I know all about the poverty there and I know how sad and upset I am for all people, in the cities, in the small towns, I have seen the poverty of all people.....AND like I said a few weeks ago, I don't like those snobby big wheels who ruin things and use/corrupt the poor for their evil doing to make a quick dollar off of their misery...that all needs to END....they always use the poor....I know how much evil there is in the world that ruins the innocent and poor.
we need to always think about the people in poverty and try to find ways to create many more work occupations that are good, it will help our world also!
we need to find ways to:
end poverty
end nastiness
find good work occupations for all
have affordable items to sustain life with
plenty of food available for all, affordable
have affordable rehabs, doctor visits, mental health facilities
affordable housing
clean up everything in the world!...I think we could bleach the world and everybody in it there's so much nastiness! icky!....lol...
at church we always think of ways to help the people in poverty locally and abroad, so I always think of food donations, clothing donations, and hygienic items to donate, we should think about the pet shelters, and homeless shelters also!...I enjoy helping out with this!
We enjoy preparing food baskets for the needy, the homebound, and I think it would be good to start thinking about having canned food drives and coat drives now....because winter will be here soon...
I think the Meals on Wheels program is wonderful, so you can prepare and take meals to the homes of the homebound, they enjoy the food baskets at the holidays with a nice card attached....and beautifully decorated, they seem to appreciate them locally..i like this at the church..it is a good way to say hello and leave a nice food basket there for them at their home, we already have lists of the addresses and names of the homebound, then you prepare the meals and take it to their home...I think it is a good program, and they accept donations for these meals...I think it may be a DHS program also....I don't know for sure...good way to be charitable and get out there and change the world for the better by being kind..
money is always something we all need, but it should only be used for goodness and to sustain a good life, help out others who are in need....to create good work occupations, and change the world for the better!
just always remember that many people are in poverty and you should always be thankful for what you have in your life, whether it be small or grand, appreciate it, because sooooo many people in the world don't even have what you have......
when people are depressed they need to get up and go help out with something charitable, it makes you feel much better!...I know I feel better when I am taking part in something at the church that is changing lives, changing the world, donating your time to whatever good idea you may have to help out others in a good way.....or help out and donate your time to a local good charitable program.
by being a good person who cares about the well being of the world and others, you can change the world with every kind thing you take part in to help.

frozen lasagna, or homemade.....
One of my favorites is Lasagna!
I have prepared my own homemade lasagna before at home, you just purchase:
Lasagna noodles--boiled/sprinkle of salt, or oven ready
Cottage Cheese--layer between layers
Hamburger meet--(cooked already thoroughly, small amount of canola oil....amount of salt..as you wish.)
Parmesan cheese shreds
Mushrooms--(sautéed in small amount of canola oil, then thrown in the layers.)
Spaghetti sauce
3 cup Bag of Mozzarella cheese (in between layers and plenty to place on top of the completed lasagna.) You could use Cacique Mozarella Cheese for this in shreds...
I like my lasagna cheesy!....lol....
depending on how many people you are cooking a meal for, you need to purchase grand sized containers of ingredients or regular sized....you can make the lasagna small or grand.
you have to build a lasagna in a square deep set pan...layer all ingredients..this, that, this, that.
some Lasagna noodles you don't have to boil! No boil lasagna noodles---
Barilla, Great Value, Skinner, Heartland are good oven ready lasagna noodle brands.....just place between the layers and bake...
some people enjoy lasagna with cooked frozen spinach added also in between the layers....I enjoy it often.
OR
You can purchase the frozen already made lasagna from the stores...I saw a woman purchase 10 grand sized frozen lasagnas a few years ago for a Lasagna Dinner fundraiser for a baseball team, this woman had a shopping cart full of the grand-sized frozen lasagnas!....
I enjoy most frozen Lasagna brands--
Great Value
Stouffer's
Marie Callender's
Michael Angelo's
On-Cor
these are in small or grand sizes most often.
Cheesy Bread sticks, plain breadsticks or garlic bread, Texas Toast are almost always there with your Lasagna meal---I like to purchase these from the store, you just Bake them according to instructions...
These brands I enjoy for the cheesy breadsticks/garlic breads---
Pepperidge Farm
New York
Great Value
Red Baron
Shurfine
Marketside Walmart Bakery
Bosco Cheese Sticks/Bread Sticks
I like to have salad with my Lasagna meal and a few canned vegetables.
preparing or purchasing a grand sized Lasagna can be pricey, so you can check the prices and decide if you wish to purchase whatever size or brand....
I enjoy cooking during the fall/winter..many different meals to prepare and try....
Invite your friends/family over and prepare a meal for everyone, everyone can throw in money on the grocery bill, or purchase grocery items and bring them over, and enjoy cooking a nice meal together when you each have time...fun! good way to be social.

the fox.....
I spent last night trying to work on my purse I am creating...I completed sewing the lining and sewing the bottom of the lining...it was a challenge with that!.....lol....
I had a helper last night and he was only making me mess up!!!.....It was Pumpkin cat and he kept slapping at the fabric, trying to grab the strings with his paw, then chew on the strings!!!...Everytime I would sew with the sewing machine I would see a black paw trying to reach toward the fabric and he even caught it and moved it!...It messed up and i had to rip out stitches because he messed it up!...I told him: " Pumpkin! I DO NOT need your help sir! " he meowed at me....lol..... I had to place him in his pet taxi, so I could sew!" geeze......
i'll complete my purse soon I know, I just need more time....
I was talking to my Grandma yesterday about all the animals that we see rarely in the local wildlife...I can remember seeing a fox with black feet (just like this picture above) in a local small town running into a creek bed....it was very beautiful and brightly colored...reddish-orange and the little black feet were so cute!...It was 8 years ago.....I bet he was wishing he could find the countryside....
I can't figure out why we never see them near here anymore, they should be locally everywhere in the wildlife......they wouldn't be bothered in the trees near here.....I DO NOT think they should be hunted or disturbed, beautiful!
Many people enjoy watching local wildlife run free, and I am one of those people, I enjoy wildlife watching and nature.....I like to see their little babies running free...aww!.....cute.
I know that there are many different types of fox I think there is white one in the colder regions of the world...a gray species is also out there..i just have seen the red/orange fox species locally...their black feet are something I think is very unique and interesting....
their babies are called "kits" and they live in dens under the ground, they are known to be wise and they will outfox you!...Haha.....they will hide and you cannot find them....My grandma said she has seen them years ago also on her land running, and then hiding in the trees...I have a few fox fall decorations, I think are wonderful...I just wish I could see the fox running wild again close to home.....they are beautiful.
anyways, I saw this quote yesterday I thought was very nice.
Love is Patient
Love is Kind
Love is NEVER having to say you're sorry.
(Because when you love someone, you NEVER leave them, Betray them, hurt them, or make them cry.) so you NEVER have to say you're sorry for anything!....Life together should be wonderful + I love you!

I had to place him in his pet taxi, so I could sew!" geeze......
i'll complete my purse soon I know, I just need more time....

football season is here !.......
I enjoyed the rainfall yesterday morning, I was able to sleep well....it is very comforting to me while sleeping....peaceful.
We were not able to work in the field yesterday because of the rain, it was pouring down in sheets of rain so we had to leave the field....
the newspaper had an advertisement all about the local high school football teams that are competing against each other right now...It was a booklet placed into the newspaper with lists of players, where the games are, and who won and who lost.....
It is tradition to go and support the local high school teams when you can, IF you wish to attend the games and set in the bleachers it may be very cold and you can take coats, scarves, knit hats, gloves, blankets with you....enjoy some apple cider, coffee, hot chocolate if you wish....
I enjoy watching the State football games at home when they are on tv often, and some of the Basketball games...my favorite Football teams are:
OSU
OU
my favorite Basketball team is the Thunder. For baseball, I enjoy the Oklahoma City Dodgers they are minor league...... all Oklahoma teams, I know every state usually supports their own local state team, and cheers them on!
People sometimes enjoy hosting Football game watch parties at their home, and you can go and order Pizza from a Pizza business locally.....I like Pizza Hut, it's closer for me......OR purchase any frozen pizza and prepare at home for you and your friends/family...
Hot wings are a food item that is tradition with Football games and you can create these at home before your guests arrive, find them in stores already prepared frozen to prepare at home------I think that the brands Tyson or Great Value have them frozen to purchase and prepare, OR you can purchase them from certain restaurants....
I think Save a lot has a good hot wing sauce and I also like Frank's Red Hot Wings Buffalo Sauce to prepare your own hot wings with at home....
just traditions.....many people enjoy purchasing tickets and travelling to the games, they are serious football followers! these can be pricey and take a lot of fuel to travel...
the weather sometimes doesn't co-operate well with the game days and schedules for any football games locally or state games...so if attending make very sure you know what the weather is planning on being that day or night...it can be dangerous to travel even locally during the winter type weather....

join / attend local stage theater......
Having good ways to meet others, cure boredom, be social, is something we all need in our small towns and cities, rural areas.....Having a good idea, creative outlet, or hobby to work on is best! Many times people love to perform, and in these small towns especially they have no way to showcase their talents....and I think when we need good entertainment, local stage theater is a nice way to attend and perform...I think these are wonderful and allow everyone who wishes to perform to be given the chance!
Many people are very creative and enjoy Art...I know I appreciate it, and enjoy it when it is NOT disturbing!.....Art should always be respectful and interpreted in a way that makes us all comfortable...I have heard about many disturbing art creations and that is very upsetting....
Local Stage Theaters have many different areas that you can join in and help out to help build a beautiful stage...There are many ways you can join in the fun and showcase your talents and you creative ability....IF you enjoy costume creation you could help sew new costumes for the stage theaters, and help to make repairs..these are always needed....I know that the Cosplay chapters enjoy costume creation also....it is all creativity....
Building stages, working the sound, painting/creating the backdrops for stages is also a way to have something good to work on with others....This could help all of these small towns/cities to have something interesting, creative and allow EVERYONE who wishes to join in and attend the local stage theaters the chance to perform!....
I know that they have to choose a storyline, read and practice, meet others...I think it would be wonderful for people to meet like-minded others and perform.....so many people have the artistic ability, and talent to perform and showcase.....
stage hands are always needed behind the curtains and near the stages to help with mechanical issues or any troubles they may have....Many, many, years ago, all these towns/cities had for entertainment sometimes was the local stage theater.....Everyone can take part and create these storylines, costumes, sets, and advertise the day they are showing...
This way everyone who has ever been cheated out of the chance to try performing has the chance to.....I know everyone can be creative and join in the creation of a local stage theater....Old buildings that can be equipped with seating, lights, electricity and are in good form work best, you may even have one created in your small town or city that can house a local stage theater and audience....
performing is something that you have naturally and don't be shy while learning your lines and interacting with others locally....small towns are the best! nobody knows anyone, and you can all meet one another and be friends if you wish to!
These productions take practice, practice, practice, and plenty of hours working on everything..
I know they can be funny, serious, cute, I have been to some of them a few friends of mine performed in and I enjoyed them...I thought they were very nice and professionally created....

whimsical dinner-ware / serve-ware, decor.....
I spent yesterday working in the field, we finished one field yesterday, that took half of a day!...I am tired....Lifting on sacks of wheat seed is very time consuming and painful....I just try to pick up the bags of wheat seed and hug them to lift on them....Wheat dust is something I have been cautious of because I am allergic and have asthma...so I place a bandanna over my nose/mouth to keep the dust from going to my lungs!....WE worked past dinner so I took plenty of water and popped a bag of popcorn in the microwave and just left it in the bag, then I enjoyed it while setting in the field for dinner....
I like sweet and salty mix together for a snack all the time, so if I have salty then I want something sweet with it...so I threw a few pieces of candy corn, and those candy corn pumpkins in with the popcorn and mixed that up....it was good.....I didn't finish it all...lol....Candy corn is good, but it is way too sweet for me and I just enjoy a few pieces at a time....
Candy corn, Autumn mix, and those mini pumpkins are fun and I enjoy crafting with those also...Candy corn wreaths are so cute and fun to create....
Good brands of those are:
Brach's
Zachary............The only sugar that diabetics need is kisses from their sweetie! ;) and I know many people have diabetes, so they have to watch their sugar intake!
anyways, I have been looking at dinnerware and serveware, décor items, it is just something that I enjoy and I like the traditions my Aunts have all carried on with collecting some pieces of it for many years....I like to browse through the stores when I can find a store that has these for purchase....I like them to be very whimsical, colorful, unique and I enjoy seasonal items on plates, glassware, serve ware all of those are very wonderful and themed for the seasons!
I enjoy dinner parties, seasonal/holiday celebrations in the home with friends/family...inviting loved ones over for prepared meals, celebrations...the dinner ware and serve ware sets just add to the fun!....DĂ©cor items also in these brands are very cute and whimsical....oh how I adore them! They can be very pricey though and I know a person could probably only collect a piece or so.....
Old World Christmas
Fitz n Floyd
Those two companies have items I think are very beautiful and I wish I had every piece of their sets for entertaining with dinner parties, and gifting....so unique and I enjoy looking at the new seasonal/holiday sets they have yearly....wish I had them all!.....lol.....dream on.....*sad face*
Old World Christmas has the most beautiful blown glass, painted glittered Christmas tree ornaments I have ever seen! all kinds of characters/seasons/holidays....and the Santa lights are so beautiful and cute!....wish I had them all!...dream on....oh well....
it would be so fun whenever I get older, to just go look with friends/family for the new seasonal sets they create yearly.....lol.....
AND whenever I have a dinner party I'll just say: "If you're going to have a dinner party and entertain, make it grand!"....I think those are very fun ways to be social in the home with your friends/family, loved ones, and celebrate events in your lives!....It should all be VERY clean and VERY beautiful....enjoy a good bottle of wine with your guests.....relax, chat, and have fun....

it is state fair time !.......
I am going to be very busy this next week...I have to help plant/drill wheat seed for a few fields..It is a lot of work, and I hope that the wind doesn't blow too much, because of dust!....I spent yesterday sewing sequins onto my purse I am creating...I used silver and orange sequins!...they are so sparkly and the silver ones shine like rhinestones......very pretty....hope to be completed with the purse soon....but now I have to help in the field with planting wheat seed.....going to be TIRED.
I saw on tv where the State Fair is starting up soon, and I can only think about how much fun I have had at the State Fair in the past years...There are so many events to go see and look at/attend there at the State Fair.....it lasts a while....it does cost a fee there at the gates to attend the State Fair and it will take some money to purchase items...can be pricey! bands for your wrist that show you have paid at the gate...
I know that it always seems to be very HOT outdoors and sometimes it will rain at the State Fair when I have attended...parking can be a mess, so be aware of that!...it can be a headache itself!
I am NOT going to be able to attend the State Fair this year, but I know I will go another year maybe.....
Our school took us one time and we could drive with friends/family OR ride the school bus to the fair....it was fun and I have a lot of memories of those days.....I remember stepping up onto a thrill ride there at the fairgrounds and I was very nervous but excited to be on the ride..
One of my dear guy friends got into this cage part of the ride, and set beside me, and the door was latched shut by one of the men controlling the ride, boy, we didn't know what we were in for!!! the cage part was turning upside down when the ride started....LOL!...I looked at him and I said:"oh Sh*t!!!" it turned upside down and was spinning, and all of his coins fell out of his jean pockets and fell way down to the bottom of the machinery, I swear it was a half-mile below!...It was scary and he goes: "Oh God!".....
AND then it stopped because they were stopping it below to let others off of the ride, we got scared because we thought we were stuck upside down so unbelievably high in the air!!!....we were both feeling sick and regretted stepping onto this ride!!!...and he couldn't believe how his coins fell out of his pockets...it was awful!...many people lost items that way...we finally got down to the bottom of the ride when the ride controllers brought our "cage" back down for us to step off...I was very dizzy and I think he was too!....We both got sick and puked in the trash can!...I cannot ride those State Fair rides, that go way too quickly and spin or upside down.....oh the memories.....LOL!!!
so that was my experience with the State Fair rides!....I don't go on them, the Ferris Wheel is nice....but that is about it for me....haha!
they have many events at the State Fair:
Livestock showings
Exhibits
Music to watch/attend
Rides---LOL if you dare!
Games to win prizes
Crafts to purchase
Food court
The food court has many unique items to try and purchase there....lol..
they have the standards for State Fair.
IF you cannot attend the State Fair you can always purchase a few of those at local stores and enjoy them at home this time of year!
I like the Corn Dogs to prepare at home and I can prepare a small funnel cake at home..Mmm....fried bread!....
These brands of Corn Dogs are good to purchase at stores/take home to prepare, Follow instructions!
State Fair--brand on its own
Foster Farms--these are chicken...
Sonic---has them also
I enjoy the Funnel Cake, I like to create a small one this time of year sometimes.
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
3 2/3 cup all purpose flour
3 eggs
1/4 cup white sugar
2 cups Milk
1 quart of vegetable oil for frying
2 Tablespoons Confectioner's Sugar
- Mix salt, baking powder, and half the flour in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream eggs, sugar, and milk in a large bowl. Add flour mixture and beat until smooth. Continue to add remaining flour, but use only enough to achieve desired consistency. Batter will be thin enough to run through a funnel.
- Heat the oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) in an 8-inch skillet.
- Put your finger over the bottom opening of the funnel, and fill the funnel with a generous 1/2 cup of the batter. Hold the funnel close to the surface of the oil, and release the batter into the oil while making a circular motion. Fry until golden brown. Use tongs and wide spatula to turn the cake over carefully. Fry the second side one minute. Drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with sifted confectioners' sugar.

community church music......
Towns and cities need to have all kinds of community events to bring unity, encourage being social in a good way...There are many events that can be planned to bring communities together and give them all something to work on, to progress toward, and be excited for!...
I know many times living in these desolate areas, or even when people have to live in the very grand sized cities, it can be very boring, depressing, and that can lead to mischief with people of all ages...When you have nothing to work on, to look forward to, or to progress toward...it is very easy to become depressed, look for bad things to get into trouble with, and this is a continuous never ending circle of nothing.....
There are just so many events and community programs that we could all look forward to, and join in with to have more fun in a good way, and to be social in a good way, bring greatness to your local area/community!...I know not everyone is religious and some may not care about going to church or to attend church, BUT I know it is a good place to start to change your life, work on good events all year round!...AND to be social and meet nicer people maybe...(churches have good and bad people there, so always be cautious anyway)....but there are so many good events you can work on within the churches and bring goodness to your community and to the world by helping out and being very active in the church events!
Community Church Events are always fun to me, and it is nice to go sing with others in the choir...Locally we have church musical events called a Cantata.....These have been a lot of fun to attend, work on, practice, sing with during holidays....
All of the churches in the small town gather together every wednesday night to practice with the Cantata church music books the church has pre-ordered for the season....they may practice on sunday nights also for the preparation of the Cantata...You'll meet many people this way, excited to perform/sing/play instruments....
It is like a grand sized local community church choir, while you practice the music books together..They have refreshments on practice nights, and they have day care available for those with children so the parents can practice....WE usually practiced until about 9:30pm most practice nights....
the music director of the Cantata is mostly a person who can conduct the choir/singers, knows music and instruments well...we had instruments there, people played them...oh it made the Cantata sound wonderful!!! it enhanced the sound and the music was way better than before with no instruments one year...I mean, piano is good, but we need more instruments!!!
we also had music accompaniment cd/tapes one year that we sang along to, they were ok, but I think live music is best for the Cantata...we had some problems with the intro to the accompaniments and when to start singing, it confused some of the older choir members....I just think that the instruments, musicians were far better than the cd/tapes for the Cantata....I like accompaniment cds/tapes for special individuals songs better...
They had Cantata for Thanksgiving--which they will probably start practice for soon...they had the Cantata for Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, I enjoyed singing in and attending these! the music was beautiful!
I think you pre-order/purchase the whole set of Cantata music together and you can copy it and create Cantata choir folders to hand-out to the Church Community Choir members who are attending and wish to sing with the Cantata that is going to be performed currently....There may be a small fee for the actual Choir books that are pre-made to hand out.....if those are available.....they are many pre-stapled pages and pages, very professional...I think mine was about $7 one year for the Christmas season one...the music goes along in a theme/story..the lyrics all relate to the story/theme....kind of like a play....
the musical director of the Cantata always needs to pre-order the music set in advance so people can start practicing months before the Cantata starts.....practice, practice, practice so you can learn the music, learn to play the music if you are a musician and learn to sing the parts...
the church always has Christian themed choirs with Christian songs/lyrics....I'd love to see not just Church Community Choir events, I'd like to see also regular musical community choirs to sing all kinds of fun music and many musicians out there who would like to perform, play along with their instruments.....that would be fun for everyone!
a good way to be social and have good events everyone can attend and be apart of.
Julie
