community church music......
Towns and cities need to have all kinds of community events to bring unity, encourage being social in a good way...There are many events that can be planned to bring communities together and give them all something to work on, to progress toward, and be excited for!...
I know many times living in these desolate areas, or even when people have to live in the very grand sized cities, it can be very boring, depressing, and that can lead to mischief with people of all ages...When you have nothing to work on, to look forward to, or to progress toward...it is very easy to become depressed, look for bad things to get into trouble with, and this is a continuous never ending circle of nothing.....
There are just so many events and community programs that we could all look forward to, and join in with to have more fun in a good way, and to be social in a good way, bring greatness to your local area/community!...I know not everyone is religious and some may not care about going to church or to attend church, BUT I know it is a good place to start to change your life, work on good events all year round!...AND to be social and meet nicer people maybe...(churches have good and bad people there, so always be cautious anyway)....but there are so many good events you can work on within the churches and bring goodness to your community and to the world by helping out and being very active in the church events!
Community Church Events are always fun to me, and it is nice to go sing with others in the choir...Locally we have church musical events called a Cantata.....These have been a lot of fun to attend, work on, practice, sing with during holidays....
All of the churches in the small town gather together every wednesday night to practice with the Cantata church music books the church has pre-ordered for the season....they may practice on sunday nights also for the preparation of the Cantata...You'll meet many people this way, excited to perform/sing/play instruments....
It is like a grand sized local community church choir, while you practice the music books together..They have refreshments on practice nights, and they have day care available for those with children so the parents can practice....WE usually practiced until about 9:30pm most practice nights....
the music director of the Cantata is mostly a person who can conduct the choir/singers, knows music and instruments well...we had instruments there, people played them...oh it made the Cantata sound wonderful!!! it enhanced the sound and the music was way better than before with no instruments one year...I mean, piano is good, but we need more instruments!!!
we also had music accompaniment cd/tapes one year that we sang along to, they were ok, but I think live music is best for the Cantata...we had some problems with the intro to the accompaniments and when to start singing, it confused some of the older choir members....I just think that the instruments, musicians were far better than the cd/tapes for the Cantata....I like accompaniment cds/tapes for special individuals songs better...
They had Cantata for Thanksgiving--which they will probably start practice for soon...they had the Cantata for Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, I enjoyed singing in and attending these! the music was beautiful!
I think you pre-order/purchase the whole set of Cantata music together and you can copy it and create Cantata choir folders to hand-out to the Church Community Choir members who are attending and wish to sing with the Cantata that is going to be performed currently....There may be a small fee for the actual Choir books that are pre-made to hand out.....if those are available.....they are many pre-stapled pages and pages, very professional...I think mine was about $7 one year for the Christmas season one...the music goes along in a theme/story..the lyrics all relate to the story/theme....kind of like a play....
the musical director of the Cantata always needs to pre-order the music set in advance so people can start practicing months before the Cantata starts.....practice, practice, practice so you can learn the music, learn to play the music if you are a musician and learn to sing the parts...
the church always has Christian themed choirs with Christian songs/lyrics....I'd love to see not just Church Community Choir events, I'd like to see also regular musical community choirs to sing all kinds of fun music and many musicians out there who would like to perform, play along with their instruments.....that would be fun for everyone!
a good way to be social and have good events everyone can attend and be apart of.
