4th of july food ideas...

Purchasing 4th of July food items, all random I have been seeing and know are traditional....

Going to be home for the 4th, just family there, grilling, igniting fireworks....

Haven't decided what to prepare for the day...

Items as :

Hot dogs
Hamburgers
Grilled items ! Or Bbq items with potato chips --- 

Or ----

Vegetables, asparagus, corn, potatoes, squash grilled,

Potatoes, baked with onions, talked about earlier.

Or potato salad, maybe macaroni salad, Cole slaw ?...whichever you like...baked beans, pork n beans also might be nice....

I saw a few frozen ice cream treats, Good Humor ice cream items, Mayfield brand items, The Klondike ice cream Choco Tacos !....good !....and / or the Nutty Buddys....I always have liked those for the 4th of July.....

Hostess and Little Debbie colorful 4th of july mini cakes...

Mini pies can be simple, easier to purchase prepared, single pies....affordable...Wal-Mart has those....

Sodas, teas, water, lemonade, juice, wine, Gatorade / Powerade, snow cones for refreshments... eh, your choice ya know !

Fruit, watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, always wash well before cutting properly, then place into clean plastic container, cool, in refrigerator....

Keep pets cool indoors, away from loud KABOOMS !

I have found some glow in the dark items in 4th of July colors, for purchase at Dollar tree, I have a few, I think they are neat...affordable...

Lawn chairs are needed for setting there outdoors to watch the fireworks above....very nice...
