The icy weather affected my internet, and it also caused the electricity to go off...I hate being without electricity, but then I think about the many people who cannot afford to have electricity to their homes, and the many countries who probably do not even have electricity available.....it wasn't available when my grandparents were younger....it took the electricity crew repairman 15 hours to get the electricity up and running again....
I have thrown away all of the spoiled food from my refrigerator/freezer because of no electricity and that gets rid of all the bacteria/excess nastiness!
my internet is just now working this morning and it is running very slooooowly....lol....seems as though it takes forever to ever get things repaired sometimes in this area, and I wish that things were easily repaired...but oh well...a person can't have everything they want in life I know....
the new year is tomorrow, and I am always thinking about things that I wish for and things I want to change, you know a person can start all over new beginnings at the start of a new year....I always try to think of things that I can change about my life and myself.....
I think many rude, snobby, jealous, hateful, evil people need to take a look at themselves this new year, and analyze themselves and realize they need to make ginormous changes in their lives, thoughts, actions, behaviors....that's what they need to work on to become much better people to make the whole world a better, safer, place....
I always wish for my life to have good changes, happier days, less stresses, and more laughter every year, but you know whatever happens just happens, and I accept it and go on....but a person has to always remain hopeful that the new year will be better for them....
Many people like to party and drink to celebrate the new year tonight, BUT they should always remember to NOT drink and drive, have taxi cabs or friends/family who are sobered up drive you home....no one really needs to drink and drive or even party on new years, I have seen many family members throughout the years have wrecks and be killed from drinking and driving, partying too much....upsetting...and stressful!
I'm staying home as usual as I have every year for awhile now, I'm just probably going to sleep tonight...safer for me to stay home off of the dangerous roads....

winter storm.....snowfall?....
I had a nice Christmas, I had gifts...I got clothes.
everyone liked all of the candies we created, and the home cooking...lol!
We fed the cows a few round bales yesterday and we gave them sacks of cubes..i placed their round bales underneath the trees and kind of behind the trees to make a windbreak and coverage from the snow, so the round bales will not be totally covered with snow..there are a few new baby calves, so cute!.....I know they will be just fine, their mothers hide them and they have windbreaks...
I'm so thankful I live in the country, I couldn't stand living in the city!...I'd just hate that, and all the traffic all the time, and slipping all over the frozen iced over roads....I like to stay home away from people....I can enjoy the snow!
sleeping is also something I enjoy when it snows, because it seems as though it is super quiet...and I sleep peacefully.
I am prepared for the winter storm...I have bottled water, snacks, blankets, candles for light, books to read, word search puzzles to work, coloring books/crayolas/colored pencils to use, Tylenol, allergy medicines...the weather radio said the power may go off for awhile....so I am prepared just incase..
I'm just afraid that my internet receiver may be iced over and break with all the icicles!!!
I want to create a snowman and see the snowfall...so maybe that will happen.
I like to watch all of the snowflakes fall from the sky and land on the windows...every snowflake is different, just like people are different, thank goodness we aren't all just alike!...how boring would that be?

peace on earth......stop terrorists / end terrorism......
I can't believe it is Christmas Eve already!....I saw a sign yesterday that said Feliz Navidad! I thought it was cute...Feliz Navidad!
I know many people are traveling out on the roads and by plane to see friends and family for Christmas. Safe travels! Looks as though we may have a bad winter storm on the way, if my blogging stops, it's because of the weather/icicles...I want to make a snowman, maybe I will be able to in a few days...I have items I need for this approaching storm(if it gets here)
I'm thinking about how very important it is to remember why we give gifts and open them on Christmas Day..Because of Jesus and his birth...it is like a world wide Birthday party for him..When I open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day...I always say outloud: "Happy Birthday Jesus!" The Wise Men gave Jesus gifts at his birth to honor him, that is why we give gifts on Christmas Day for his Birthday...to celebrate.
I wish for peace on earth everyday, and I know it seems as though it never happens for our world. And it is very upsetting that so much devastation and evilness takes place on our earth. I often think about the Middle East and the sadness and unrest that happens almost daily there in that land.I would like to visit the MiddleEast someday and the Holy Land there where Jesus was born and so many of the passages in the Bible take place...it is a sacred land to all.
Jesus is God's son, and I know that God is upset with all the terrible events that take place in the Middle East, and the whole entire world and all countries, cities, towns, communities. I know he is upset with how drugs and all nasty evil corruption take place all over our world, BUT I know he is pleased that so many people work to make the world a better, safer place and that they want to rid the world of all the nastiness, and corruption...We should all work toward creating peace everyday, everywhere, and always in our own areas. And by working toward ending corruption everywhere all over the world, we can clean up the world of all nastiness/evil....and awful weirdo people.
One thing that I hate and I am sick of is all of the nasty, whiny, bratty, cowardly, evil terrorists and terrorism..That's so damn stupid! They're always stirring up trouble, plotting evil acts, whining around about something all the time when they can't get their ways and bawl around about it, so instead of handling times of anger and disgust with words, they just go blow something up!..idiots...They constantly have to be creating danger or set out to harm someone...it happens all over the world all the damn time!..*eyeroll*....They are not strong they are weak cowards and they need to seriously grow a pair of cojones! Bwahaha!!(I know I shouldn't talk like this at CHRISTMAS!).....oh well it is the truth they need to all do that!...LOL!
The terrorists(troublemakers worldwide) need to be kicked in the face and cojones with a good pair of cowboy boots!..Haha!.that would get them!, and then I would rope them with a rope, take another one and tie their nasty butts up!...they all need to be gone, so I don't have to hear about them ever again whining around, and blowing things up, causing constant upset and devastation!...they're some of the most annoying clowns, idiots, and losers!!! all they do is harass, bring danger, harm to others and the world and ruin things....Just...like....the local HILLBILLIES, they remind me so much of them that I know that all these terrorists/troublemakers all over the world are real true HILLBILLIES!...just like them---evil, constantly ruining things, whining, and causing danger and upset...annoying losers! they behave like a bunch of bratty snobby babies....stupid adult idiots behaving like spoiled snobby bratty children..all they do is cause chaos.*eyeroll*
they're just like those HILLBILLIES, they work off of intimidating others to get their ways, and make threats all the damn time...they think they are something else important, but nope, just HILLBILLIES in another country, it doesn't matter who someone may be/or how wealthy they may be, or where they are from, when they behave this way that is what they all are trashy, bratty, spoiled, whiny HILLBILLIES!......Bwahahaha! it's the truth....I'm so sick of hearing about them and their stupid sh*t!
I laugh at how stupid they all are!...But terrorists and terrorism need to go!...so we can bring peace to our earth and make it safer, cleaner, happier, and we can prosper for the good...I always wish for everyone in the world to work toward being a better person and working for the good side, NEVER bad....
anyways, I have family I will see today for Christmas, and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

terrible school, awful teachers, bullying....
I was able to color in the coloring book yesterday evening in my Animal Rescue coloring book...I was coloring a cat in the book very dark black to look like my Pumpkin cat....and as I was shading in the picture, I started remembering how when I was in grade school a teacher ridiculed me in front of the whole class because I colored in a cat picture very dark black..She grabbed my coloring picture that I had finished of the cat and held it up for the whole class: " Well looky here! We all know who's cat this is! She's been using too much crayon! I've never seen someone color so dark! It's Julie's!" and she glared at me!...most of the class laughed at me(all the spoiled snobby brats in class were laughing)...I went home mad/upset..I thought: " What does it matter if I color a cat picture very dark?!! I wanted it to look that way!"....that old hag was always running her mouth off about everything I ever worked on, in her class...she was hateful and yelled at me and everyone who wasn't a preppy snob...just like the rest of the teachers there at that school...that school/faculty/snobby students were all worthless and pathetic!
I had an awful glassy-eyed mean, hateful, Algebra teacher who confused everyone in my class who wasn't his clique-ish preppy snobby students..the snobby elite students they all got his theories, and how to work the problems, and he placed me in front of the whole class almost every day and I had to work the problems on the board and he made fun of me, got rude, hateful, made threats to hold me back, and would not explain anything to me! and singled me out in front of the whole class and run his mouth off at me, and got the snobby, preppy kids he doted on to laughing at me...it made me upset, they were always messed up on something bad...I don't know how that teacher worked any of his confusing formulas they changed everyday...lol....Even my guy cousin who was very good at math told me: " That even confuses me! that's not even how you work these Algebra equations! I don't know what he's trying to work with that crap!" That Algebra teacher caused me a lot of problems and I felt sick every morning I had to stand up in front of that class and be belittled.....and he knew my hillbilly relatives...
I know for a fact that a lot of the times that all of these teachers cheated me and the others in class on tests because I have seen my answers on the same questions match those bratty kids answers, BUT mine got checked wrong with hateful notes beside the checks..theirs were always right though!...annoying...teachers were all just always bitchy, rude, they wouldn't explain anything, all any of those worthless teachers ever did at that terrible school was yell at everyone, eat and drink something in class, and try to sell Pampered Chef items to people!!!...*eyeroll*...they always had some crap they were having parties for after school...I thought that was funny...and they gossiped just like the snobby brats in my class and were bullies to all students who were not their preppy doted on ones.....
All of those teachers at my old school were hateful and tacky to me and critical of me over everything I ever worked on...they all yelled, made threats of holding me back in another class, and singled me out..they were all nosey about all my business all the time, they ran their mouths off at me about my hillbilly kinfolks all the time, and nothing I ever worked on was good enough.....The preppy snobby brat kids in my class ALWAYS got doted on and praised, they got all the good grades, even when they didn't show up all the time or skipped school, that was ok with the school and teachers, they NEVER got scolded, or bad grades, or held back...the teachers basically worshipped them and it was like they were already friends with those annoying loud mouth snobby kids after school...
The snobby annoying kids in my class----their parents always ran up to the school and were at the school all over the teachers, in the superintendent's office, bringing something to the teachers/faculty---they were all old snobs when they were in school and I heard one say: " I want my daughter to have everything! I want her to have this award and this and that, she's going to stay popular!" and she was one of the most rudest, hateful, snobby, annoying girls in class too!...nobody liked her and the other 2 snobby bitches in my class..they made fun of me all the time, and they were mean, and terrible snobby to the other kids in class with nothing either..they made fun of everyone...everyone hated them!
the stupid teachers always let those brats in my class get out of class, skip class, for anything and they never got reprimanded for anything...how fair is that?!....they all skipped class my senior year and said they went to the lake, and they were at a bratty guy in my classes house partying outside up the road from my house that year, a family member of mine saw them and told me....they were messed up bad....they were so loud mouth and annoying I stayed away from them...I could not stand any of those snobby spoiled brats...constantly doing something to get attention..they never shut-up!....they all got very jealous when I started singing, and they all started trying to sing!---Bwahaha!!!..they couldn't sing worth a crap!, neither could that rat-haired bitch cousin of mine, she was right in there with all the snobs, being a jealous, snotty bitch!..i never could stand her either!..i had to tolerate her because of my Grandma and her stupid ways!...I couldn't stand any of those bitchy spoiled brats, boys and girls...all nosey and annoying, bullies, they all stayed messed up all the time and were annoying loud mouths!...
that whole school, snob students, faculty, town, snotty snobby people in town and the area are CREEPY weirdos!
still to this day many years later, those spoiled brat students and those stupid bitchy teachers all have tried to get their noses in my business, find me, run their mouth off about me in town to others, and they all say: " Julie?! she will NEVER achieve anything, nope, not her she's too shy!!!, she won't even talk to people!" that was an old hag teacher who said that from grade school!..stupid hag!!!....I have not even talked to any of these idiots from that school since I graduated!....they don't even know me anymore, and I am definitely NOT shy at all!!!...I had to set in the chair at school all these years and be quiet because I never could get a word in anywhere with all the loud mouths talking and yelling all the time, they were so annoying!...*eyeroll* they have all went everywhere talking about me, and ruining things everywhere they have went!...they never go away...
I was bullied by the preppy snob spoiled kids, and I was also bullied by the teachers, who were obviously in cahoots with the bratty kids and their snotty parents, and my hillbilly kinfolks...they all have been critical of everything about me, got their noses in my business, belittled me, made fun of me, and I was thinking the whole time: "Why are these idiots always harassing me, or following me? Why are they always trying to spy on me?!!..i never gave a crap for them!!" I'd even see them in local stores all these years later, spying on me, or they'd try to call me, I never would answer those losers calls! weirdos. they all think they are better than everyone else--they always had EVERYTHING.
it seems like all those snots in that town/school have all plotted to bring me down and be mean, hateful, and ruin everything for me and the others in that town who wouldn't join their stupid weirdo cliques!...creepy people...they've all harassed me for years and ran their mouths off at me and about me, made up lies about me, and ruined things for me, they were all in with the hillbilly hags in my family who were into very very bad things in the area...so I learned that, and that explains all my grief with these idiots harassing me, hurting my feelings, ruining things for me and others, and bullying me....I've always been tired at school...I cried when I got home most days because of the way they all treated me, and cheated me on grades...it was very stressful putting up with that school, brat kids, weirdo teachers....I'd always think: " Why do I have to go to school here?!"
i know what it is like to be kind, respectful, and quiet to everyone and still be bullied by preppy spoiled brat kids/adults too!...it's sad when people way older than you are spoiled and still jealous of you!!!...Haha!...When people bully you, just laugh at them, they're all just jealous idiots!....jealous weirdos that's what bullies are!!!...being bombarded with this harassment for years is/has been very stressful for me, and especially trying to live your life near a town full of creepy hillbilly people like this is even worse...and then they were ALL(people in school/that town/hillbilly kinfolks) always making threats on my life, that if I got a work occupation/job somewhere they would ruin it for me, because they had POWER! they'd yell/scream at me, and have constantly ruined things for me like that, too much danger/corruption and no help to battle them!!! all I could work toward all these years has been keeping myself safe the best way I could, staying away from them all.....they kept mouthing that I was going to have to move and they were going to take my home/property from me!...confusing! I don't know what that was all about??? stupid idiots!...
a few years ago, hillbilly kinfolks tried to move a hillbilly travel trailer onto my land and got mad as hell because we told them off!...they wanted to hook up to our sewer and water!!!..*eyeroll*...Bwahaha! they're all so hillbilly it's too funny!...Yee-haw! they made threats and yelled around!...I laughed about it!...oh lord, help us all!
those hillbilly kinfolks, preppy students, and idiot teachers all are skeevy individuals...creepy something weirdo....they all always look messed up...creepy! I did have one teacher who was gracious, kind, and really wanted to teach and that was my Senior Year music teacher...I liked him he was very nice....and not weird!
I just think about all the kids who I went to school with who were bullied, belittled like me, and who dropped out of school because of the snobby corrupt students/teachers...it makes me mad/sad that went on....I just got tougher and battled my way to graduation and I laughed and celebrated when I got outta that hell hole!..they all cried at graduation....lol..i guess because they had to leave their perfect town/school where they mattered, because outside of that town none of those idiots mattered to anyone, they're all a nobody!...Haha!..all big wheels in THAT town/school but nowhere else!..i laugh!
just thinking about all this, because I was coloring a cat in very dark black in a book yesterday..after a grade school teacher treating me that way over coloring a cat very dark black years ago!!!...haha!...it's funny I have a black cat named Pumpkin all these years later, he doesn't like them either!..LOL!....

I just think about all the kids who I went to school with who were bullied, belittled like me, and who dropped out of school because of the snobby corrupt students/teachers...it makes me mad/sad that went on....I just got tougher and battled my way to graduation and I laughed and celebrated when I got outta that hell hole!..they all cried at graduation....lol..i guess because they had to leave their perfect town/school where they mattered, because outside of that town none of those idiots mattered to anyone, they're all a nobody!...Haha!..all big wheels in THAT town/school but nowhere else!..i laugh!
just thinking about all this, because I was coloring a cat in very dark black in a book yesterday..after a grade school teacher treating me that way over coloring a cat very dark black years ago!!!...haha!...it's funny I have a black cat named Pumpkin all these years later, he doesn't like them either!..LOL!....

christmas prep, dinner, pink snow recipe.....
I was able to complete working on my Christmas candy molds using the colorful melting chocolates and the intricate detailed molds...I actually did good work on those! Shock!....lol...It takes quite a while to work on the small details, you just need a lot of QUIET time to make this work properly!
My pets are all very excited for Christmas, I think they just want to see what kind of gifts they have!....haha!....they like the food too!....I got them treat bags with chewies, and regular treats....it's cute!
I have wrapped most of my Christmas gifts to others, and I am already working on making a few items for Christmas dinner and also thawing some of them.....I am going to clean the house this evening and make it very clean for Christmas.....
Going to have the usual cowboy Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, and I also have my sparkling grape juice to have as refreshment...After dinner and opening gifts we like to play board games and talk/laugh...it's tradition...
this is a fruit salad that we have every year..it is simple to create.
Pink Snow
1 can of Eagle Brand
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can of drained pineapple chunks or fresh chunk pineapple
1 carton of Cool Whip
1 cup of pecans--broken
just mix in mixing bowl and keep refrigerated.
2016 calendars are something that I see in the stores, I really like the cute animal calendars!...I purchased one yesterday, so I will be prepared for the New Year...I always like to purchase my calendar ahead of time.

Coke.....
When I am able to drink a soda, I like Coke the best...I really like all the promotionals they have at the holidays with the commercials..they have polar bears and I think penguins, one commercial years ago...
Coke is an American tradition, many people like to drink it because it is an old brand, and that is why I enjoy the soda and all the collectibles they have...I have a small polar bear plush toy and 2 of the polar bear cereal bowls....
I found a very old glassy Coke bottle out in my pasture once after it rained and it was way under the ground and it is an antique..i thought it was pretty and I like the old style of things anyway, but it was neato to find that, it was aged but still together....
My family has always liked to drink Coke and I laugh at all of them they purchase and drink!....
I recently have seen the promotionals for Coke this Christmas and I like the designs.
People have been gifting soda to people for years and Coke is one of them, we have purchased different pack amounts and gifted them to others in past years, my family especially!.....lol...
Coke is nostalgia and is part of our history, they have many different old Coke signs in many stores and I like those, I like the Coke sign on the soda machines too....
I like how fizzy it is and it helps your tum-tum when you have something spicy at your meal....haha!
everytime is see Coke promotionals for the holidays I think about how much nostalgia there is with an old brand of soda like Coke, and they keep the designs old-style looking and I like that as well....

m i o...Made in Oklahoma, tourism, Oklahoma mistletoe....
Most people like to support local businesses, local handmade items, local produce, and local everything!..Thanks to Agriculture we can....And when you support your local businesses, state items that are created, grown, produced near you and in your state you help your local farmers, producers, and economy....which hopefully will create more jobs for companies/businesses....
Here in Oklahoma we have the MIO program and that makes the public aware of the items/grocery items and businesses here in the state that you can purchase from and enjoy that are created locally here in Oklahoma.....Sometimes there are signs in the grocery stores here in the state that will let you know which items are produced/created here...and that helps the small time businesses and farmers, corporations.....I like to always try to support the items made here...I think the MIO program is great, but it does need a bit more work on it...usually they have all the state business items on the list, but I see many that they have forgotten or excluded....put all of them on there MIO!....haha! MIO--stands for Made in Oklahoma...and they have a website online....but needs more work and is slightly confusing at times!.....
Being that it is Christmas and the holidays, I think of all the local state businesses and items that you can gift this season and I have done that...Everyone should support their local state producers, and I know you cannot find everything you need shopping all made in your state, but support those you can find....helps the economy and producers....
helping your local state tourism is also a good way to support the economy and take part in helping to make your state a good place to relocate, create growth of the towns, and to bring into the state many more businesses, occupations and work for people and that is what we need here!...and also so people would like to take a getaway vacation here and enjoy the scenery and the nice people who are here....every state has mean people and I know that....
for gift baskets it is a fun idea to send your friends/family that live out of the state local tourism items I think that's cute! they have:
key chains, magnets, clothing, mugs, throws, tumblers/glass ware, candies, pillows, jewelry, plush animals, OSU/OU/THUNDER gear, pre-packaged local foods, and the local native American tribes also sometimes have items they have handcrafted that are sooooo beautiful and unique....just many things available to gift all the year through.....and this helps the economy when you purchase these items here....I like all the items they have...
Mistletoe is an old fashioned tradition and you place the mistletoe hanging above a door entryway and when you and your beau, stand underneath the mistletoe you can kiss at the holidays...haha....but it is a tradition that is old fashioned and it grows in the tree tops here in Oklahoma..i just don't know how they can get that out of the tree tops....and so many people can....

gift wrapping, another candy recipe...lol..
Purchased gift wrap yesterday, I just purchased a medium sized roll....I like wrapping paper it is all colorful, shiny, sparkles some of it, different patterns, pictures and characters...I saw The Minions movie character wrapping paper yesterday---they're yellow/bright and cute!...
I also purchased clear tape, a package of bows(all sizes/colors), shirt boxes to wrap, gift sacks, tissue paper, name tags that you adhese to the gifts after wrapping them, candy boxes that are printed...
always be careful when your pets are near your wrapped gifts because they like to chew up and ingest the bows, wrapping, boxes, tape----anything under the tree!...all pets will do this...it is bad behavior of them, but you have to keep them safe from that because they can become ill or even die from ingesting these!...one of my cats did this once and had tummy problems couldn't poop, and he laid on the floor meowed around, I knew what he had done, (he kept trying to chew on wrapped gifts)I knew he had ingested a sparkly ribbon on a gift while I was gone to town, so I gave him hairball remedy for a few days and he pooped out a sparkly purple ribbon!!!....haha....that's why I don't use ribbon on wrapping!.....
going to help my Grandma make her favorite candy today for Christmas next week....everybody likes it! I use a candy thermometer for making these kinds of candies....(Altitude can work against this recipe)...you can also purchase this already made in packaging at Atwoods stores, I saw it there...but I like homemade better.....lol..
Divinity
1 and 1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Water
pinch of Salt
1 jar of Marshmallow cream
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. Chopped Pecans
Boil sugar, water, and salt to hard boil stage , 250 degrees. Put marshmallow cream in mixing bowl, stir in hot syrup you just boiled, Beat until stands in peaks. Fold in vanilla and pecans, Drop by spoonfuls onto plate or waxed paper. set until cooled, then enjoy....store in container...
My grandma purchased Old Dominion Peanut Brittle this year, because they can't find plain peanuts for making brittle, so they like that brand just as good..i do too.

roping supply, sleep and bedding .....
A good sport for anyone interested in farming and ranching is roping..There are so many items you can rope just about anything!...You can even rope liars, thieves, hillbillies, dangerous idiots..and when you catch them tie them up! and laugh at them while they cuss you!!!....LOL!.....
If you have extra time and you like to be outdoors, roping is something you may enjoy...it passes the time and when you have cattle it can be a good useful skill out in the pastures or when you have a cow get out of the pens/or fences.....I like roping it's fun, and passes the time...keeps you working on your skills...
when you are in Agriculture---Farming, Ranching, Cowboyin' you should learn to rope it is a good skill to keep your cattle on your property....you can catch them...I like a good rope, one rope I like is Cactus Ropes or any rope brand will be ok...I also have an old rope my Grandpa gave me.....works just as well...and you need a good pair of roping gloves, any brand will be just fine...
(make a lasso out of your rope, there are how to instructions online somewhere I'm sure, I can't explain how to create the loop and everything simply, so look online for videos or instructions)
you can also purchase the plastic steer heads to practice roping and they are easier to learn to catch the horns with.....you can purchase these online along with other machinery that moves and you learn to rope the metal feet or horns...it is expensive...it is fun to watch....that is, if you're not participating...
some people like to team rope for sport, a lot of the men in my family like team roping and rodeo...In team roping, a header and a heeler are needed...header---ropes the steers horns, and a heeler---ropes the back hooves...no steer is harmed at all...just an old cowboy tradition of practicing your roping skills, they do this for rodeos and I enjoy watching this too....
anyways,
I was thinking about how I need to purchase a new comforter and all new bedding for my bed...it could be a nice gift to myself this year!..I like nice fluffy pillows, and the comforter sets, I like them!--they include everything you need in those..I know that I need a set of new sheets you have to purchase those separately....
I like to sleep well and peacefully at night, sometimes a cup of milk at night before bed time helps me to sleep better.....
blankets/quilts are needed in winter to place on top of your comforter when it is cold..Brr!......sleeping and resting makes me feel better...when I can sleep that is!!! and the dogs aren't barking all night and people aren't yelling all night down the road up north!!!! these people!!!!!! *eyeroll*
(I may just go down the road and rope/tie them up with a rope!...haha! listen to them cuss me....then I could go back home down the road and SLEEP!

spices, seasonings, rubs, marinades, chili recipe....
It was very cold yesterday so I made a pan of chili...I always prepare one on cold days, everyone loved this! here is my recipe just for fun.
Southwest Chili
1 can of ranch style pinto beans with jalapenos
1 can of tomato paste--6oz can
1 can of tomato sauce--8oz can
1 Williams Chili Seasoning Mix package (or any chili seasoning mix package you can find)
1 and 1/2 lb of ground hamburger
16oz of water or 2 empty tomato sauce cans full of water it is the same as 16oz
1 medium onion chopped
In larger sized cooking pan, brown hamburger with onion well. Then add chili seasoning. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Heat/Simmer until Hot! Serve with crackers and cheddar cheese, sometimes you can place a teaspoon full of sour cream on the top of chili. I like to use this chili also on tacos, frito pie, hot dogs, nachos, chili cheese fries....everyone likes it!
I like Barbecue and smokey meats....When I prepare meats I like to soak them in marinades, or use food prep gloves and place a seasoned rub on the meats before cooking/smoking them, you can also sprinkle these rubs from containers also before cooking....they also use brown sugar as a rub for the meats....I like liquid smoke on meats and you pour it onto the meats to marinade/cook them..good! Hickory, Pecan, and Mesquite smokes and the wooden chips to smoke meats with in the fire are the favorites. Also when cooking/grilling meats charcoal briquettes are good to use in the grills/fire....Smoke Houses are good things needed for smoking meats for Barbecue...a good Barbecue sauce is always needed....You can always ask a professional meat smoke house worker about all that...lol...
I like Liquid Smokes for cooking meats, and these brands are the ones I enjoy---Colgin and Figaro.....a good company is Daddy Hinkles(here in Oklahoma) they have good seasoning and other cooking items that I enjoy....and my favorite barbecue sauces are Head Country--(here in Oklahoma) Sweet Baby Rays, and KC Masterpiece---all good!
I know many people like the spice sets, rubs, marinades and sauces for cooking, to gift for Christmas or other gifts and I like that....Daddy Hinkles has gift sets and they are very nice and good!..i enjoy their line of items...
Spices are needed for cooking and I don't like bland foods...I have to have spices, and I like spicy/hot with most of what I like to prepare....I have a spice rack that turns in my cabinet and it is very helpful to hold the spice containers....
these are the spices/seasonings I have in my cabinet to cook with:
seasoned salt, sea salt, regular table salt and pepper
chili powder
cayenne pepper
onion flakes or plain fresh onion works too!
lemon pepper seasoning---fresh lemon is good for cooking turkey in oven
oregano
thyme
garlic--fresh, or garlic salt or garlic powder
mint
turmeric
nutmeg
cloves
all spice
pumpkin pie spice
cinnamon
rosemary
basil
vanilla liquid and vanilla bean--if I can find it in stores!
brown sugar---for seasoning meats or baking
bay leaves
paprika
crushed red pepper flakes
sage
celery seed
mustard seed
cilantro--fresh
chives
I like to season cooking with jalapenos a lot when I grow them in the garden also...celery and lemon are good to work with to season meats..and onion as I mentioned....

elderly at the holidays...
I was able to go shopping yesterday...I found a new coloring book and it was called Animal Rescue. I thought it was very kind to have a thoughtful coloring book that is about Animal Adoption and Animals that need Forever Homes.....I have been coloring that with Crayolas and Colored Pencils...coloring is very relaxing to me...
I like to purchase anything with dogs/cats and any animals pictures placed on it....I got many compliments yesterday at the store from random people who liked my Cat Christmas T-shirt....everyone liked it and said they had dog/cat t-shirts they wished for because they too had pets and adored animals...that's sweet...Everyone was very friendly and said Hello! and wished me Merry Christmas! I really like that!...very nice and cheerful too!
I also purchased Goofball a new lightweight tie-up cord..it is for ginormous dogs that need a lightweight cord, (very tough cord but lightweight) the brand I like that works for me is Coastal Pet Products...on box--Titan?...anyway, it's at Atwoods store...they need more of this brand available for everyone! they work well for Goofball about 6 months and then they crackle and he rips them in two...so I purchase these often!...Haha!
I know that many elderly folks are without family at this time of year, and I think about them in the nursing homes, and those who are homebound and may need someone to stop by and gift them a holiday basket to wish them Merry Christmas!...I have been apart of gifting the baskets/sacks to the elderly before, homebound and the nursing homes...it makes me sad, they are alone and can't get out there as much as us younger people...we will all be elderly someday....so always be kind and think of those elderly people....
we like to gift Poinsettia's the flowers to them, or fruit baskets, candies, snacks, crackers, water, hot cocoa packets, teas, cheeses, canned meats, all packaged items....with a Christmas card and greeting from who is gifting the items..
as with any gift, you can gift off brand items too, it's all just the same thing in different packaging.
I created a surprise Christmas food basket for my Grandparents I included:
Fruit---Grapefruits, oranges--Halos brand, bananas, apples, pineapple, kiwi.
Nuts--everyone likes to purchase the bags of mixed nuts and use the metal nutcrackers to break these up.....healthy snack....they like them too.
Chocolate Cherry Cordials---My great-grandma(before she passed on) gifted boxes of these to all of her grandchildren when I was younger..i liked my box..I like the brands Queen Anne, Zackary, Cella's. I purchased 1 box...these are kind of like Bon-bons.
Hazelnut/chocolates---I like Ferrero Rocher in the gold wrapping, and the hazelnut chocolate in the jar called Nutella...it is good...other chocolate brands I enjoy are Godiva, Bedre, Hersheys, Russell Stovers, Cadbury, and Ghirardelli...I pretty much like any chocolate...so i included 1 set of these.
Meat/Cheese set---I enjoy the meat/cheese sampler sets.I included one of these..they liked it. The brands Hillshire and Eckrich are good. The cheeses Sargento, Kraft, The Laughing Cow, Frigo, Velveeta, Cacique, Babybel, Coburn Farms--I like those. I included 2 sets of cheeses..everybody likes cheese in my family(I guess we are all pretty cheesy! LOL!).....
Canned ham---Grandpa likes these so I purchased him 2..the brands made in USA are all he purchases(because of food safety) the brands Dak/Plumrose, Hormel, Bristol, Spam meats are ok with him.
Vienna Sausages--the small cans of these they like I got 4 of these..Libby's, Armour, Hormel--we keep looking for Hormel and can't find it anywhere near here..it was good!...these are in pork, beef, or chicken....I like these with crackers, sharp cheese, and mustard packets when I am working in the fields for a quick snack...I always throw the trash in the trash cans!...
Crackers--a box of Ritz crackers to enjoy meat/cheese and canned ham with.
Fruit Cakes---they like fruit cakes, and I included 1 of those they are an old tradition at Christmas, and a few Moon Pies...lol..I like those!.
Fruit pies--- we all like the Hostess Fruit pies, my Grandpa loves these!..i think the packaging on these are cute and colorful....they at one time made these in vanilla and chocolate pudding too, but we never see those anywhere!...he always looks for those...
Candy canes--My Grandma likes these...so I purchased Spangler candy canes or Brach's brand...
Tea--they like the tea from a restaurant so I purchased a plastic carton of that they have for purchase.
they loved their surprise Christmas food basket and I liked creating that for them...I also gifted them a few word searches with silly Christmas pens....
at Christmas there are so many old traditions with foods and gifting these at the holidays and we like to keep those old traditions going with the certain items everyone likes....and with cooking.

Christmas punch.....
I like a good Christmas punch at the holidays that is quick and much easier to create and pour into a ginormous punch bowl....I have this recipe just for fun today....some people may like it, others may not like it....it is affordable...BUT it needs to be doubled 8 times depending on how many people you may be serving at a Christmas Bash!....
Christmas Punch
1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 (1 liter) bottle of ginger ale, chilled
1 (2 liter) bottle strawberry soda, chilled
Combine all ingredients in punch bowl. Use extra ginger ale or 7UP, if you wish. Makes 20 punch cups.

starting bands, singing, playing instruments, lessons......
Music is something that I think is good for everyone to listen to, be apart of, perform...It can inspire you even on your worst days to feel better sometimes, and it can change your life sometimes just by listening to a song that inspires you....Songs are like poems and everyone who has written an inspiring song about real life, usually has experienced some of the situations the song is about....
Music can make you feel a range of emotions, and some music can calm and relax you....that's the kind that I like...Music can make you want to dance! and forget your troubles...
I think it is a good thing when people perform on stages, at festivals, celebrations, at community events locally....music always makes things better!
you can start your own band with extra money saved back that you and your bandmates save up...Many people start their bands with co-workers, friends, and sometimes family members....It is just something else to keep you active and out there meeting new people all the time, getting to know your community, keeping you focused on something good and you will keep busy in free time...
I like to go watch/see/support local performers at shows, festivals, events locally....and it helps your community to go and see these people....
learning to play an instrument-----will take practice and a good instructor that knows how to teach you to play, any instrument you wish to play will be ok, and you will be able to play it after rigorous training....guitars, keyboards, pianos, drums...are just a few to learn!..sooooo many instruments to play!
Vocal training----I have never had vocal training, BUT some people need training, I know of others who have, and I know that it takes a lot of practice! you can find a vocal instructor and have lessons and be singing after a lot of practice....lead singers in bands, will always be needed! if you are an instrumental band, you know you just need instruments...
People have always said I can sing very good, and I don't brag on myself, I just say: "Oh thank you! You're sweet!"
Music books to train with----you can purchase music books at music stores, or find them at other specialty stores that have those in stock..they have the music written and you can follow that to play with your instruments and the words to sing the songs as well...these are good ways to learn songs..i know you can order these online too....
Practice, Practice, Practice-----you can practice with your band every week on a certain day when all bandmates are able to practice and when every one has free time after working.....BUT it takes a lot of practice to make your band work and sound right, you want to perform for people onstage and you want to sound really good! and you have to get along and be kind/respectful to your fellow bandmates...
Microphones, sound systems, amplifiers, speakers, microphones-----that are good quality will be needed so your band will have it's own sound system and equipment, and you will know how to make it work right and keep it functioning so you will have good sound quality for your band at all times....instruments need plugging/cords to power, so always be careful with that as well!....
You should mark with sharpie pen on the back of all equipment you own in someway with your band's name so you will let everyone know that is your property and it should not be stolen from you!...happens all the time to people.
A Band Name----Choosing a band name is always a task, so just let bandmates get together and discuss the name for your band....make it nice, but something unique that represents your music, and the band as a whole....
Promoting, Advertising----after you have practiced and your band sounds very good, it is time to attend and place your name on the local roster of talent to play in the line up of performers just be careful and make very sure that your band's name remains on the list because other jealous bands, performers can take your name off, so check and be sure that it remains there!
when you wish for many people to attend your performances you need to have a band advertisement online with twitter or some other form of social media and that way people will know you are performing when and where and at what time...You can also make paper advertisements and place in local businesses windows when they allow that, always ask first before taping a paper advertisement in windows....OR advertise in the local papers the same way....sometimes handing out free tickets to a few people will get your band started and promoted locally....
I know in many communities there are designated buildings and certain days at evening/nighttime that just anyone can sing/perform music at with their band...I like this!..some things are state wide---here in Oklahoma there is something called the Oklahoma Opry, but I think you have to audition for that one....but you can go see them perform....
I think it is a good thing to go out and see performances with friends and family when you are not performing yourself...music is always good to keep in your life...
band merchandise----local bands often times have cds to listen to, caps, t-shirts printed with their band name on it and they are available for purchase, this is another way to advertise your music and the band you have created!...they usually place these items on tables for purchase before or after the performances...
Show support!----It is a nice way to show support to local bands by attending the shows, and purchasing merchandise they have that has their band's name on it and it is a nice way to meet new people in your community....
Go out there and create bands, play instruments, sing, learn to play instruments, learn to sing, and let people hear your music, your voice, and enjoy it!!!

saving money..sorry i'm rambling !...lol....
Saving money can be difficult these days, especially when there are not many workers needed and no jobs! Some people have to work 2 occupations at the same time to pay bills, taxes, take care of their family and if they have no family it takes money to keep up vehicles, and pay for farms and homes....Everybody goes through all of this, it's just life..
most people in a household living together always both of them/all of them work to pay for expenses, and room mates all have to share expenses and hold down jobs to pay on everything they share, groceries, bills, taxes....they all gotta work together to make it work....It's good to work constantly!..I like to keep working on something all the time...extra free time, is nice, but the more you work and are constantly focusing your attention on a work occupation you have extra money for things to save, and you are probably more likely to not get into trouble!...bills never cease! taxes never cease and we all have to pay for those pesky bills/taxes...and when running a farm/livestock there is always something that takes extra money, so you gotta save it up!
others will ask me:" How do you save money I cannot afford to live!" and I always say: "Well, I don't constantly waste money I don't have!" and that's what many people are messed up in, is purchasing things with credit cards and never ever being able to pay those loans off for extravagant purchases they don't need!..A person doesn't need all that junk it's wasting money!...they just all have been trying to run with the "big wheels" who makes fun of them for not having designer this and that, ginormous house, new vehicles every week, and shopping all the time!...those people*eyeroll* who cares about all that crap!...if you have to purchase those items to fit in with "wheels" like that who needs them!..that's stupid!
Don't purchase unnecessary junk..you don't need everything you see!
Goodbye addictions!----If you have addictions get rid of them--too expensive! and bad for your health and life, waste of money, I have never had an addiction, but I know many others who have...ruined their lives and others...costly...causes fines, court costs, jail time....more money wasted---awful nasty!
Cook more at home----I like to cook at home, it's fun for me and healthier I think, I still like to go to restaurants, but cooking at home is fun...lol....I shop for groceries at many different stores, shop at Save a Lot and Aldi, and when you are at a local grocery store, just purchase the off brand of products they work just fine! more affordable, your grocery bill will be cheaper...this is what I like.
Clothing purchases---Goodbye designer labels and excessive clothing purchases!...Too many people are focused on having to have designer labels..I never have..I don't care...It's just clothes...clothes are all the same..My Grandpa he has always said: "Nobody needs to waste money on a label".....and he's right those old cowboys they don't give a sh*t about any of that!...I learned that from my Grandpa and my uncle....designer labels---goodbye! don't need ya!...haha! (I never have) and you don't need to constantly purchase clothing!
Boots and jeans---All a person needs to spend a little extra money on is a good pair of cowboy boots! You get your money's worth out of cowboy boots they last a loooong time! I like Wrangler jeans they are durable and affordable..we all wear those!..who cares...2 pairs of jeans is all you need...and a few affordable t-shirts, or other tops....I've talked about this before...blah blah....who cares what I think anyway blog!...Haha!
older clothing---I just wear older clothing and it's worn and comfortable from working in the fields/pastures and I like that...my old Carhartt coat is worn and I like it!..just an example...lol..gloves are too...
I just don't purchase many items at all..because I don't care.
Thrift shopping----Garage sales and Goodwill are good places to check out for more affordable clothing and home items...some people like vintage shopping and bargains..so those are good places to look for items.....I've stopped by many times! it doesn't matter...affordable....saves money.
hats---My Grandpa, he likes to wear caps from local farm machinery businesses/caps he purchases for $5, or cowboy hats, and he likes Resistol or Stetson, he has two, takes good care of them and has had them for years!..he's got good wear out of them....and his money's worth!...he gets them cleaned and shaped from time to time...
pet items at chain stores---shop for these at Walmart, Kmart, Atwoods...more affordable than the pet stores most times, I like pet stores but many times they are too expensive...I shop at both...but the stores like I just mentioned above they are more affordable on pet foods, treats, toys, leashes/collars/lightweight tie-up cords, pest treatments.....so look there.
New unaffordable vehicle purchases Adios'!----Haha....Too many people have to run out and purchase a brand new $65,000 vehicle every month and that's ridiculous and they get caught up in payments/bills with that...stupid!..You don't have to have a new vehicle every week...*eyeroll*..drive an older more affordable vehicle and save money for repairs, that way you don't have $500 payments every 2 weeks!....nobody gives a crap what somebody else drives...these people...*eyeroll*..once again...
Taxes/bills/ loans/payments---A person MUST keep their taxes paid up on everything that is taxed soon---everything that is taxed..you gotta pay taxes!....Keep your bills for everything paid up and you won't get caught up making loans at the bank you can't ever pay back!..if you have farm/home loans, you need to keep those paid....by saving money and it is costly but you can make it work if you are careful and shop affordable..within your means....
Bank accounts, savings or checking---When you have a work occupation or you make money off of the land by farming you need to place your money in the banks and save it, or start a checking account that you can keep up with by checking the balances at all times....you must NEVER write "hot checks" when this happens it is terrible, jail time, fines, and a nasty mess!..so you can always just remove cash from savings if needed....keep checking accounts balanced at all time! everytime you get a paycheck place it in the bank and go back if you need money for groceries/medical visits, or anything for the farm....just save money in your accounts when you can!...
credit cards---Goodbye credit cards!---nobody needs these, I have seen soooo many people lose everything they had because they couldn't pay these things off! I have never had these...I don't like them...i pay with cash and if I can't afford an item, I don't want it.
affordable shopping---I like to shop affordably at the Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Kmart....These stores are just as good as any fancy chain store..for home items, groceries, clothing, just about anything you can think of they have it....just as good as anything else out there...I like them anyway...I don't care....shopping doesn't matter..all the same items...just more affordable....
wholesale/food in bulk---I like shopping where I can sometimes to purchase a lot of an item in bulk...I like the Sam's store chain..you have to purchase a shopping member card with your picture/info on it for about $30??? I think now...but you can go to the store and shop after receiving your store member card and purchase all kinds of items in bulk with cash...extra grand sized packages of food, bottles of beverages, cleaning supplies in bulk, hygiene items, candies, and the list goes on and on....I like to shop there with my Grandma and we like to purchase extra soaps, cleaning supplies and sometimes paper products or packaged foods for saving...it is more costly but you are purchasing bulk of items and it is there at your home when needed...just always get non-perishable goods when you wish to save items and attempt this...
Meat stores---they sometimes have grand-sized packages of items like chicken strips, egg rolls, burritos, chili, pizza pockets, cheese sticks, and the list goes on..i like to purchase these and I can cook these items for a month or more if I purchase a package or 2.....saves money I think.
Expensive!--Too many children!!!---I don't have kids and I can't have them anyway, BUT I know soooo many people who have complained/whined to me they have too many bills for their children and they can't pay for them all and they yell--it's not fair!.I always think: "Well, you're the idiot who had all those kids you don't want and you mistreat, don't blame and yell at everybody else for it!!!.they get annoying and whine about it to me forever!.*eyeroll*.children are very expensive and I don't understand why so many people keep having children and they can't pay for them?!!they get welfare checks/money on them..one woman told me she got checks on every baby she had and she made a living off of it!!!..That makes me mad and sick to think about our taxes paying for a woman to keep having unwanted children to make money..annoying! sick of them! ..
Just don't have so many children I tell them!....it's easy to stop that with birth controls, prophylactics, abstinence, and you can get a surgery to make it to where you cannot have pregnancies men and women can get this surgery and NEVER have to worry about having children when they don't want unwanted pregnancies...it's that simple, there will be expense for the surgery but some people..oh lord help us all with these stupid people!!!..so annoying and whiny! I know that they need these surgeries!....LOL!..so many unwanted children in the world and expenses for children they don't want or need....they all wanna whine about it all the time, forever this has went on...they are mad/jealous I don't have children!...they all have about 5 or so unwanted kids...LOL!...it isn't my fault they had all those unwanted kids....they have yelled/screamed at me for years because they all have 29 kids and I don't!...why?..idiots! expensive to have children...hillbilly family members, girls I knew from highschool, they are all stupid hillbillies...and annoying....All I have ever done is be kind and nice to these women and they all hate me...oh well, who cares, they are the morons with problems, not me! Adios to them!
Gardening!----gardening for the table/canning vegetables---another way to save money in the spring/summer is to have garden at your home, place in the back yard or anywhere on your land, you can plant the seeds, water and keep them weeded, and keep pests away from them while they grow, take care of your garden, make your soil useful and plant vegetables to have for meals, canning vegetables like peppers, green beans, beets, making pickles from cucumbers, and then you can plant a lot of potatoes from one sack of seed potatoes by halving them...I had soooo many potatoes this past spring/summer...I never went without potatoes to cook with meals...good way to support your food pantry in the spring/summer...vegetable and flower seeds are very affordable and they create a bounty of goodness for you and your family...just get out there every year and work in your garden!...I like to, it is relaxing and comforting to me....and affordable....
fuel/car repairs---save money back for fuel, every paycheck you get and save for car repairs, you never know when you will have car troubles so always remember to save money for vehicles, check the oil, and have tire treads evaluated and you may need new tires so think about that as well...
just try to save every dime you can and place money back in savings accounts in a bank you choose..don't purchase unnecessary items or grand expensive items...there are also many websites that teach you how to be frugal as they call it and live within your means so you can check those for help....
living simpler, cleaner, and more old fashioned is better for us all I think...we need quieter time and more peace everywhere.....you don't need all the hassles of extra bills/payments/junk/mess in your life....stress!....just live simpler...it's more affordable...you don't need everything you see.....nobody has everything and if they do, they have to pay for it!...
most people in a household living together always both of them/all of them work to pay for expenses, and room mates all have to share expenses and hold down jobs to pay on everything they share, groceries, bills, taxes....they all gotta work together to make it work....It's good to work constantly!..I like to keep working on something all the time...extra free time, is nice, but the more you work and are constantly focusing your attention on a work occupation you have extra money for things to save, and you are probably more likely to not get into trouble!...bills never cease! taxes never cease and we all have to pay for those pesky bills/taxes...and when running a farm/livestock there is always something that takes extra money, so you gotta save it up!
