windy-dusty week ahead.... ;(

Finally got time to buy the new Reckless Kelly cd...it's really good...and the cd art is awesome...i couldn't find an official video for this song, i love, off of the new cd,so i found this random video someone posted-it's fairly clear and audible...i have got to see them in concert...maybe someday.....

Just woke up...

My brother liked his B-Day gift i got him..he said:"That's cool!Thanks!"...he liked the pumpkin coffee cup and all the fall-theme of it!...haha..shocker.

Saturday night was a team roping at Jeff's arena, and everyone ended up going over there to team rope until 2am...Pretty much everyone was there...it got kinda windy at times and the dust would blow all around....ick!..i'm sooooo sick of this stupid drought...it's ruining everything...go away stupid La Nina' weather whatever you are!.....

Yesterday Dad called from West Texas, and asked me & Sarah to go to his house and gather up all his winter clothes, and put them in those travelling tote bags he carries around w/him when he's travelling, because his boss is sending him to Montana/Wyoming next week w/the company he works for....Diego/Jeff & some others, work for those people too, so they have to go up there also...

we gathered up long sleeve-shirts/more cowboy boots/winter coats/socks and that cowboy hat he wears in winter...it's black...he also wanted us to get his horse "Spook"(who lives up to her name)ready in the corral w/an extra saddle&saddle blanket....so we went out in the pasture and lead her back to the corral and got her in there, locked the gate....

Diego,Jeff and the other cowboys travelling w/them got here at 4pm w/a trailer and they loaded up Spook and got all Dad's clothes, put them in the truck and left for west Texas to work til next week, then they all gotta go up there to Montana/Wyoming.....I bet that's one hell of a drive w/all those guys in a truck that far!..lol....i think there's another truck going, hauling the other horses trailer, so it's probably not so crowded....

i think that would be fun working like that up there in Wyoming & Montana..girls work there too..so i could try that someday....they just seem to have so much fun....but Dad hates being away so far from home and he gets homesick a lot...we all miss him..we haven't seen him in a few months now..but oh well....

today i have to go and pick up my horse saddle & my dirty/muddy boots from the "tack" repair guy..he is so nice! he just kept on insisting i let him clean my boots up...i told him i would pay him and he goes:"No!...for all the pretty girls i do this free of charge."...aww..that's sweet of him...i could clean them myself but he can clean them without scraping them up or ruining them he said...i got mud/cow poop/dust all over them in the corral the other day when the water tank ran over-(not my fault!)..so they're pretty messy...but i'm sure he's got them looking great now along w/the saddle..it was covered in scratches from tree limbs/thorns....

then after that it's back to work....supposed to be very windy this week..i'm not looking forward to Dust Bowl 2011 this week at all..but i am prepared,i've got my allergy medicine ready...it just makes me so sleepy i can't do anything!!!...it's like being here, but not really...i get so tired i lose track of time and i don't even take a full dose....lol...

kisses.
