volunteer fire departments....

Today there is a wildfire danger...That means that the ground and vegetation is extremely dry and you cannot burn anything outdoors or even grill food outside...

When there is no rain and a lot of windy conditions it makes it very easy for embers and sparks to start fires on anything outdoors...I don't like drought conditions and I don't like very parched dry land, it's bad for farmers, everyone and everything and very easy for you to catch things on fire...

you can lose your home, your belongings, your loved ones and your pets in a fire...People should always be cautious even when driving heavy machinery on dry ground, it could spark and ignite wildfire...

people also should not smoke and throw their cigarettes out windows because they also start fires..

I can remember for the last several years that there have been many many fires started due to the carelessness of people and the drought stricken areas of our state....It is very scarey when you see very tall fires in the distance burning down trees, homes, land!

Fire smoke is very dangerous for you! Your safety and your health...it can also burn your lungs and eyes! and give you very, very awful breathing problems  when you are too close to it!...driving in smoky areas is something that is very dangerous as well...

Fire fighters are people who I appreciate a lot..They make a great difference in the world and they save lives..they have to be properly trained and when they work for local community fire departments I know they run low on money they have a tough time getting money to work on to take care of local fire problems and save lives..

Volunteer fire departments always need help and they also need fundraisers and money...They are always looking for extra volunteers to work with them to combat wildfires and all fires in the local communities...and for people who live in the countryside..

they have to have travel expenses, equipment, training, water and that is always going to be needed in all smalltown areas and rural areas..

we need more local volunteer support teams in these more rural areas because rural areas always are further from stations and need extra support...You can also get out there and meet some new great people to make friends with and talk with...while keeping people safe and helping them out!!!

People who live in town need to support their city support teams like their firefighters, police and emergency response teams because they all need to know that they are appreciated!!! they make a good difference in the world and are always there to help people out in times of crisis...

love, Julie
