I was outdoors yesterday and there were some termites near the step !....they must be hatching, they had wings !.....often they look like an ant with wings...
I have had problems with termites for many years...oh, they are terrible to have interior or exterior your home, or any building built new or old......yikes....they just take over everything !
Termites can easily ingest your home in a matter of seconds it seems....they ingest the wood that may be built into your home.....they swarm often, they were near the window in one room awful, ingesting all the window frame, into the bathroom wall and floor, we have had to repair and replace much of the woodwork !!!....
When we had replaced these areas in the home, we could see their colonies they were living in and growing in...icky !
They chew up the home quickly, my grandparents home also was terrible with them....what a mess termites create !....
I can hear them chewing in the walls sometimes if they are near...this is a mess !
There was a local termite company that got rid of them years before....that helped some....they sprayed chemicals to rid them....
Terminex is one company that I know of, nationally....whew ! They could make money near here ! ....lol....how nasty these termites are...
Termites need to go away, and never return !
