congregation at church....

It's sunday morning once again and I am thinking about church....I know I blog about church every sunday, it's just something for me to ramble about on here because it is sunday....

I saw some Christian Children's books at the Dollar Tree for sunday school or at home...they were cute and just a dollar!....I know my Auntie will probably like to purchase those for the church!...I'd like to do that for the children at church!....They also have Bibles for purchase and that is good they are available for everyone....it is the oldest book in the world, and the best one to read! available in all languages.....

CONGREGATION AT CHURCH
The church as a whole is the congregation that set in the pews and they have many things they can perform on sundays....

USHERS & GREETERS
You can help with the worship services and be an usher or greeter at the church every so often you just volunteer! An usher tells people when to stand up and walk from their pews during ceremonies and a Greeter says Hello to everyone at the door as they walk in for church....every sunday someone different does this....Being friendly and smiling saying Hello! and helping out any way you can is always wonderful....

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS
We always have people who need immediate prayers so on sundays you can stand up in the congregation during prayer requests and say who needs prayer or have an unspoken prayer requests by not saying who needs prayer (for privacy) whichever you choose is just fine...just keep praying!

SAYING HELLO!
Before church begins everyone can stand up and say hello to everyone and shake hands, introduce yourself if you are new to church and be friendly and respectful to everyone!..Say hello to those new to church and welcome them, sometimes people are very nervous and shy the first day at a church so go over to them and say Hello! Welcome!....

CHURCH BULLETINS
On sunday mornings, whenever I arrive to church I always like to find the church bulletins that are printed with the weeks information on them and look at those to see who needs prayer and what events are scheduled for sundays church services....It also tells the choir songs, the name and pages they are on, and the hymnals should be placed in the pews.... The bulletins also say who may be performing songs/music on their own....

CONGREGATION SINGING ALONG
I enjoy choir music and if I may not be singing in choir on a sunday for whatever reason, I always like to set in the pews and sing a long with the congregation...you already know what pages the songs are on in your hymnal, so get your hymnal and sing outloud with the other people in congregation...as the choir sings......I enjoy this also!

PASSING THE OFFERING PLATE
The church passes the offering plate down the pew aisles and people also volunteer to stand up and take the offering plate to all of the pew aisles as the congregation passes it down to the next person...many people do not have much money and whenever the offering plate is passed down to you, you do not have to donate any money, and you do not need to be taking money from the offering plate like a hillbilly does for extra pocket change!....lol....leave the money in the plate as it passes by!....haha! If you donate even one dollar or fifty cents that is good!....It all helps to keep the church running and we always wish for the church to NEVER be corrupt, so we always have to watch out for corrupt people in the church who may steal the money....God will punish evil doers in the church! it always happens I have seen this many times locally...

BE RESPECTFUL, QUIET, LISTEN TO PASTOR
Many times the congregation can be noisy and you cannot hear the pastor preach, so we know we should always be quiet as he preaches and make very sure that noisy children are in the nursery area of the church being well taken care of...It is very disrespectful and rude to be noisy during church service as the pastor is preaching....so keep quiet, listen and learn, bring your Bible and follow along with what the pastor is preaching!....Bibles should be placed in the pews for those in congregation to follow along with....or bring your own Bible...

FREE CHURCH BOOKLETS FOR CONGREGATION, TAKE ONE HOME!
The church often has booklets there placed at the entry way to the church..The booklet that we have there for the congregation is called The Upper Room...it is available for everyone to take home with them and it is free for everyone to keep, every month or so they replace them with the latest editions...it has daily devotionals, I like to read them and sometimes carry them with me in my purse or keep at home..i read the daily devotionals and I enjoy the lesson and stories, they are available in all languages if you wish to have them.....The Upper Room should be available for all churches..non-denominational...it is a daily devotional and I enjoy it! they have pocket-size carry with you, OR they sometimes have the large size books that are full-page and easier to read font sizes...they are good for everyone...read them every day/week/month to keep thinking about religion...

BE VOCAL AND ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN YOUR CHURCH
Best thing for every congregation to work toward is to wish to be involved and active in the church by being there for all events, supporting events, sponsoring events for the church by donating money if possible and donating your time to help out always...Be vocal about your hopes and wishes for the church as whole and let others know how you feel about certain issues and schedules.....

Help plan events and join in the Men's/Women's Church groups, Join choir and sing specials, play instruments!, get to know others and have fun!..Church is enjoyable and fun once you get to know everyone and you start to be active in everything at the church....it changes your life for the better.

I know it is boring for many people at first, but once you have been going and been involved in everything, and the fun events/occasions at church start, you like to attend regularly, donating your time also is good and this helps you to be actively involved!...This also helps your community to grow and be fun!....Some people are very shy and nervous at first, but remember no one is there to judge you at church, we all need to have spiritual guidance in our lives and learn to know how to live our lives right....Attending church, belonging to a church family is always good for you....
