church fundraiser ideas.......

Attending church you always know that there may be the need to have fundraisers held to raise money for special events at the church and if your church may be taking a missionary church work trip somewhere, you will need to raise money for travel expenses...

People can tithe money to the church when they can afford it, and they may donate money if they wish, but the church as a whole needs to all pitch in and work to create extra money for events, having fundraisers is a good way to create money...

some ideas for fundraising locally in your town-----

Cookie Dough Sales----Prepackaged cookie dough that is kept frozen in plastic tubs can be sold for a cost, all types of cookie doughs....they have sold this locally before and it sells great!

Prayer Breakfasts-----These are held at the church and designated individuals who can prepare the breakfast are there, you have Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, Pancakes, Syrup, prepared Hashbrowns, Orange Juice, Coffee, Milk, Water, other Juice...small fee for breakfast prepared at the church kitchen area...advertise all over town, invite others, have a good breakfast, meet others, have places to dine there near church kitchen....start early in the morning to prepare breakfasts.....people enjoy prepared breakfast locally....makes good money.

Lollipop sales----I have talked about selling lollipops at school years ago, and they sell wonderful for a small fee, pre-purchase from company grand sized plastic bags of the lollipops and sell them for the church fundraisers....

T-shirt sales----Create Beautiful t-shirts with Angels, Sparrows, Crosses, Stained Glass pictures, Jesus, Hearts, Stars, Bluebirds, some pretty picture that you can have printed on the t-shirts that are nice and good for the church to represent God and Christianity, you can pre-purchase them maybe from a fundraising company or have a local t-shirt print shop create them for you...they sell wonderfully, and you can have them advertised in shop windows with permission or in the local newspapers, and at your church....they can be purchased for about $10....to fundraise for events...

Scented Glitter Gel Pen Sales----These are very popular right now with the adults and children, because of the coloring books and I know I enjoy them too!....they have these for fundraisers also....purchase for a fee....

Affordable Christian Adult Coloring Book Sales----I love the Christian Adult Coloring books and I wish there were more available, I just know they are very pricey some of them I have seen, and if they were more affordable I know a church could pre-purchase from a company and maybe sell them for fundraising money?!!...I'd like to see that....it would be good for the church...

Gummy Band or Homemade Bracelets for purchase---The gummy bands could be scented and have Christian themes on them for purchase all colorful hues, and designs pre-purchase them..sell for small fee,...AND you could have your ladies/men's groups have a day of crafting and create bracelets with beads, wire, hooks, plastic strings...and some affordable Christian charms, you could create them for purchase and advertise them in town, or sell them online....this would be fun and help raise money, make them colorful and be creative for God and the church....

Glass ornaments---Pre-purchase or create glass ornaments in all colorful hues and have them for sell near Christmas time and have them available for a small fee so people can adorn them on their Christmas tree!....this helps with Christmas expenses and preparing food baskets for the needy and homebound...or create any other crafted Christmas ornament and have that for purchase..advertise

Angel Festival---This is a fun way to be social at your church and to attain money for fundraisers...For a fee you can attend the Angel Festival...Everyone can be invited to attend! Create an Angel Costume, decorate your face like an angel would look, go to the church, have prayer, and enjoy a meal, door prizes, raffles, bring Angel statues, jewelry, clothing, anything with angels adorning it, and it has to be new, donate these items, then they can have an Angel sale.......Serve Angel food cake with whipped cream, and strawberries as dessert with the meal....the money goes to the church fundraising....have fun..invite the town to attend, be social, invite them to the church......make it pretty!

Church Bingo Night-----They say you shouldn't gamble when you are a Christian....lol....but these Bingo nights are harmless!...Have them at the church and play Bingo for Christian prizes, you may even have a meal after prayer, for this one also, towns enjoy meals, have in the evenings, invite the townspeople to attend.....I like Bingo....fee for meal...helps to fundraise.

Food Trucks in towns---the church could own a clean, sanitary, food truck and it could be all over town every week and the money could go back to the church...this is a fun way to raise money constantly for the church fundraisers....Advertise so people will know about it...people like food trucks when they can find them at noon on the streets...

Garage Sales at the church----People of the church can donate items they wish to place in the garage sales and the church can hold a weekend event of a garage sale, advertise in the newspapers, all over towns and local towns, garage sales are very good I think....affordable for everyone, the church can have these for fundraising....

Pet Costume contests----during Spring season, they can have a pet event and have refreshments for the church people, bring your pet's water dish and have a pet costume contest outdoors on the church grounds.....have pet costumes, pet items for purchase pre-ordered from a company and donate the money to the ASPCA or local animal shelter that DOES NOT euthanize....have your church be involved in helping animals! have pet adoptions one weekend outdoors the church during good weather...advertise, invite everyone....

Cancer Awareness Fundraisers for local towns---Many people have cancer in the world, and locally many times they need help with expenses because cancer treatment is pricey and I know insurance is not always there to pay for the treatment, so I know that any way you can help with fundraisers to bring cancer awareness and help the Cancer patients with bills would be amazing!...Having Cancer Awareness walks in the park or on the main streets with townspeople would be very good and a good way to meet others who have cancer, or have had their lives touched by cancer, this would be good for the church people to raise money to donate to cancer research or to good local people to pay bills...Get out there and make a good difference in your community and the world!!!

Rose pens---These would be good pens to have for purchase as a fundraiser for cancer money donations to women with cancer...The rose has been an emblem for Women's Cancer and it is a pretty flower, pens available in all colorful hues...I think the rose pens would be wonderful for churches to pre-purchase and sell for cancer treatments and money donations....many women have cancer and we all know someone who has been touched by cancer...so these rose pen sales would be good along with awareness walks, dinner parties, health talks..at your church or there in town....fundraise money and donate to those who need help with bills...

and the Ladies Tea Parties I talked about before, the Men can host the Chocolate Parties for fundraisers...I talked about all that earlier...those are also good fundraisers and a good way to be social in town and help your church to grow, be friendly, meet others, and invite them to attend church with you!...

just remember to invite to EVERYONE locally, NEVER reject someone who wishes to attend church or any church event...God owns all churches and they are there for everyone to go to..these fundraisers need everyone to attend, work on, prepare, and be serious about them....Advertising is a MUST....this creates more money for fundraising and helps your church to grow...we all need to be more friendly and social, respect others.......church is a good place to start!
