peaches in jello.......

I like to make peaches in jello often during summer...

I purchased two small boxes of strawberry jello...I just got the off brand, it is sometimes more affordable...

and a grand sized can of sliced peaches....

you can use cherry jello or strawberry....whichever, both are good when making this simple dessert.....I prefer strawberry jello!

it is easy to make this, and not a heavy dessert during the hot weather days....

Take both of the small jello packs and empty them into a medium sized bowl that will hold all of this.

Add two cups of boiling hot water. Stir this with a whisk or fork until the jello dissolves....

Open your can of peaches and spoon out a few of the peach slices into another bowl and feel across them to make sure there are no hard pieces of peach seed left on them...When you know there are no pieces, take the peach slices and add to dissolved jello...(this takes time BUT it stops you from breaking your teeth on a hard piece of peach seed!...oh that is awful and nasty!).....

Spoon only a handful of peaches that you have checked out into the dissolved jello..or more if you wish..ALWAYS check for peach seed pieces, when you make this dessert...feel across the peach slices for ridges of seeds....icky!

Just add as many peach slices as you like to enjoy to the dissolved jello.

Add two cups of icy cold water to this. Stir.

Cover with plastic wrap (Saran Wrap) or off brand is ok.....Chill in refrigerator many hours until jello is completed.

when completed, spoon out into a small cup, you may wish to add a dollop of whipping cream, to your individual bowl.

it is a nice snack during the hot weather.
