One thing I really like at Christmas is decorating the Christmas Tree.
My Grandma almost always decorates her Christmas Tree with red and white striped candy canes.
I learned when I was younger at church that the candy cane's stripes represent Jesus Christ.
the Red stripes represent--Christ blood shed for us so we can have eternal life and forgiveness of sins.
the White stripes represent----Purity and cleansing of our sins through Jesus Christ.
I think that's very sweet and neato!
so whenever I see candy canes at the store or anywhere, I remember that story and think about celebrating Jesus Christ's Birthday on Christmas Day.
