field work and tractors....

Kinda feeling blah today....Ready for summer to end.

Many people have been hauling hay bales and taking it to closer pasture to stack and store it..Round and square all sizes....

My grandparents have their hay all hauled and I know they are happy that is completed.

Had to have a machinery mechanic look at the tractors so we can start planting wheat seed...He worked on them and drove out to the field near their home and worked on them...It is very rare to find machinery mechanics that will drive out to your field...you usually have to haul your equipment into a repair store to be worked on....

we need more machinery mechanics that will drive out to the fields and work on things because it is very difficult to load and haul equipment that isn't working properly....I'd like to be able to repair everything myself and I become stressed because there just are not many mechanics locally that can drive out to the field and repair things....He was paid for gas, parts, and his work....

we have to purchase wheat seed and then we can start planting wheat....it's a lot of peace and quiet when you can start a tractor and plant a crop dawn til dusk taking breaks in between planting..listen to the radio sometimes if you have one in your tractor..it's good to focus on farming/planting and try to forget your troubles or any worries you may have....

just to be able to get out there into a field and work on the tractor....complete your work sometimes late day or in the dark....go home and sleep..listen to the crickets chirp....that's field work in the fall season...just peaceful....

gotta get more diesel...it is expensive!

then we have to work on the Dew-eze on the feed truck before winter feeding starts for the livestock and that is something that HAS TO BE completed!....always something to work on and complete....

a few of the tractors we have used in the past years have been:

John Deere
Case
Farmall
New Holland

I like all of them.....some are enclosed (have cab) some are not enclosed(don't have cab)....some have air conditioning..some don't....

I have a John Deere cap(hat) that I wear when I go into the field and help out.....It is a pretty green and yellow...

farming and agriculture are things that I dearly love and I support all farmers who feed the world and help clothe the world (cotton)....it is always a good thing to farm good vegetable crops, grains, and cotton for clothing, canola for cooking....

peanuts are something that my Grandpa was farming also for many years and I know all about peanut butter recipes and peanut butter sandwiches.....haha!
