Thinking about spring,
I enjoy gardening, watching flowers grow, growing veggies myself at home ! Fun ! Every spring I become excited to grow, plant flowers + Gardens....
Purchasing the seed packets soon !
Wal-Mart, Dollar stores, Dollar Tree, local feed stores, home supply stores, Home Depot, Lowe's, local builders supply stores usually have plants, veggies, flowers, small plants to purchase in spring, but seed packets you can purchase and save early.....all seed brands nice....I love all flowers, very cheerful !!!
Flower planters, clay or plastic, decorated, plain, nice to grow flowers, veggies in.....long ways, square, circled, find everywhere.......or the planting boxes you can create, fill with planting soil......it is in plastic sacks, most everywhere in spring.....
I love gardening ! Nothing as fun to me as planting, growing, taking good care of a spacious vegetable garden, very nice to grow veggies on your place, clean ground !
Planting and growing, taking care of flowers, saplings, shrubs, bulbs, flowering trees, fruit trees, you can purchase often the trees, medium height to plant, they take root, plant deeper underground, not too far below, but for nice root systems to flourish......
I think tree saplings are nice also, I have purchased several, years before, just take extra attention, more tedious care.....wonderful to grow, watch them for years !....lol...
Shrubs, are plenty ! All types, flowering, very beautiful.....The Rose of Sharon is a very pretty flowering shrub / mini tree, flowers are beautiful ! Hardy, which means grows easily in drier, weather as here....just water...
Bulbs plant under ground early ! Grow during spring, months following....several in packages, plant together, water, do not disturb....
Planting zones, are the areas which you live in, and the specific dates on the calendar you need to plant the seeds, plants etc... by........usually located on the back of the seed packets or plant packages.......follow planting advice on the zone charts.....
The Farmer's Almanac is a nice portable smaller book with planting, farming advice, I enjoy reading this booklet every year.......find at Wal-Mart, most feed supply stores, several different book covers.......old fashioned, tradition, I think almost every older farmer I have ever known followed the Farmer's Almanac.........I like to read the other articles in the booklet.......affordable.....they say it works, years and years I have heard that from them, so I suppose it does work, know a lot about gardens, farming, etc. ;)
Gardening gloves can be plain, rubber bottom, or fabric with cutesy flower prints, colorful, keeps your hands cleaner, I purchase several pairs yearly, most stores have these when spring arrives......very affordable...
Rakes, garden hoes, Sun straw hats wide brim, garden flat knee foam boards, small hand held rakes, diggers, water hoses, plenty arrive to help with gardening.....I have a few.
Wind chimes, garden decorations, plenty, very bright, beautiful, animal statues, wind spinners, wind socks, garden flags, these are all very cute ! I adore these at my garden, near flower beds, or near steps.....all prices, Big Lots, Wal-Mart, Dollar stores -- all, and Dollar Tree, have these affordable !
Weed control, all brands I purchase yearly a bottle or so, and pest control Sevin Dust or other brands, nice for pests on garden, flowers, minimal useage on pets backs, bellies for fleas/ ticks, never on faces, never in eyes......!!! Danger ! I purchase a sack of the dust every year.....works nice !
Liquid pest control for spraying around home near foundation, pour in plastic prayers, spray with eye wear, gloves, on, keep pets, animals, kids away while spraying, and until it dries.......I have pest troubles near my home, get into my home, bugs, spiders, scorpions, centipedes......Often they get into my home, very dangerous not to spray exterior home, prevent, upkeep pest control.......icky !
We need to everywhere be planting new trees, replant where lost, helps earth breathe, creates, clean air......
Planting beautiful, bright flowers that return every year best, keep watch over bulbs yearly, replant, will be beautiful......the earth needs cheering up, so dull, too many years......bright colorful flowers, flowering trees, are beautiful, need to be required all over the world, everywhere in my opinion !!! ;)
